Default UD redemption question

so i redeemed a durant ud black card back in april but since he signed with panini i requested a replacement, I just checked the status and a week ago upper deck changed it from replacement requested to athlete committed to sign soon so be patient. has anyone had this happen to them with upper deck where they change the request?

When did Durant sign with Panini? There were reports that he was in talks with them back in April but I don't remember a deal ever being announced.

Yes, has happened to me. Usually the redemption manager does this when the athlete in question has finally made some progress in the signing process (may have finally acknowledged the cards to be signed and committed to a return date, etc.) and they want to avoid the replacement.

I don't agree with them not honoring your request, especially if you have been waiting a long time already.

I have an UD Exquisite redemption from 08-09 that I've been waiting on, and asked for a replacement.....then just last week it changed to "Athlete commited to signing soon..please be patient"....so maybe they did come to an agreement with him to sign those older cards. I'll sent a post once I have concrete information and get the card in hand...whether that one or the replacement.

go ahead and email the time2swap address again and if you have any relevant old correspondence, forward that to them.

dont think durant signed with pannii yet, otherwise he would have been in national treasures.
