This year’s Topps Chrome baseball set is on its way and one thing looks pretty certain — there are some tougher odds for some Refractors this year.

What will that mean market-wise for singles and wax?

We’ll have to wait and see, but here are the odds for hobby packs:

refractor: 1:3 if they a keeping the blues numbered to 199 (like on sell shi t then the regular refractors will have a print run of at least 4,000 (give or take you have to factor in retail
blue: 1:58 4-5 per case
red: 1:370 maybe 1 if your lucky

I didn't have any interest in this product so haven't really paid attention, but weren't cases close to $1,000?

Yes they were.. Sheep were buying into the hype and this is print to order. Every hobby shop I know took the max limit on this. So how much do you think is out there? I heard that Topps offered to buy some of it back from the shop owners. I have never heard of that but it can't be a good sign.
