As much as I didn't want to spend 300 plus I went with the RR simply because I'm guarenteed 20 rookie auto's and possibly a Bradford or Tebow auto that would cover 1/2 the purchase. I know it's wishfull thinking but they have to be in there somewhere so why not my case lol. Couldn't justify 200 for the UD series 1 with almost 0% chance of pulling a card over $5.00 but I see the logic in having more chances at that $5000 gift card.

A Posey RC out of that product is more than a $5 card .

A 1/100 shot at $5K should be a $50 buy-in value...figure the other prizes and it's more like $75 in lotto tickets...hardly enough justification to go in on a product you will almost certainly be behind on by more than that.

If you want a "cheaper" buy-in, I guess RR is the way to go, but I still feel the best bang-for-buck product on the list is Sports Legends, albeit at a higher price point. Just my $0.02.

I went with sports legends. I think that is the only way to go to. The price is great nice stuff comes out of it as well. I did get a case of 07 topps football as well! 2 slots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Rated Rookie is the way to go. Check ebay. Even some lesser known players are getting $10-$20. With the SP list coming out the other day, it just makes it that much more appealing. 20 guaranteed autos? I did something similar at the beginning of the football season to get into the survivor league. Bought Press Pass. I got 2 Arian Fosters, 1 Michael Crabtree and a bunch of other mid to mid high rookies (mostly defensive). I'm fine with $350 for 20 Autos out of RR. Even if they end up as bums.

I just purchased 5 cases of Donruss Rated Rookies - so 5 slots for me - might still pickup a few more before end of day! Not 100% sure yet but might break all 5 cases for the 100 autos and break up the 100 rookies into lots of 100 RC's - so let me know if looking for any certain players or team lots from the Donruss Rated Rookies product

i agree we were close before promo 4 closed with 20/32 i think
but those 20 spots left might dry up before everyone would get there money in if iluvfish2 wanted to do it

You might get back more but I bet it works out about the same per slot....you get back more but you also spent more for that slot. Also with only spending $200 per I was able to get 3 slots. (Unfortunately its still a long shot to win the $5000 especially if you don't get decent numbers). Crossing my fingers...........good luck to everyone!
