* There is a new format for 2011 involving 4 "Play-in games" aka "The First Four". If the teams are seeded as #16 and #17, then the format listed above works out fine. We will clarify further if necessary when more information is available for the seeding.

Just to clarify, beginning this year the NCAA has changed the Tournament Region names to the following:

East Region (no change)
West Region (no change)
Southwest Region (Formerly the 2010 Midwest Region)
Southeast Region (Formerly the 2010 South Region)




Beginning this year, the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee will go to a 68 team field. The last four Automatic qualifiers and the last four At-large teams selected will play in the "First Four" (aka Round 1) games.

Here is a breakdown of how many teams were seeded in each respective region:
East Region - 18 Teams
West Region - 16 Teams
Southwest Region - 17 Teams
Southeast Region - 17 Teams

For clarification for those who have drawn seeds with play-in game implications please see below for your teams:

East Region:

Very cool of Blowout to do these promos throughout the year! I don't think I'll be taking part in this though. The final prizes aren't so hot plus none of the buy-in lots grabbed me, but you never know. Good luck to everyone!

I think the 07 Classics is a good deal at 50 bucks a box with 3 hits plus inserts. Plus Panini honors expired redemptions.

He clearly said the final prizes arent so hot. Find another site even doing this promotion and giving away a $1500 case. People on here often come off as ungrateful. Not liking the buy in lots I can understand, complaining about a $1400-1500 FREE case, I dunno.

There was no complaining....I believe the frist sentence stated that it is very cool of Blowout to do all of these promos period, despite the prizes.

I love anything March Madness, but it seems odd to pair the final prize with March Madness. I was just surprised, thinking a basketball product might make more sense (I don't collect football or basketball, and I'm not in the hobby to turn a profit, so either way I'm out). These contests are always awesome though because it helps push product, create dialogue about sports, and some lucky schmuck(s) hit a good prize.

Yeah, it'll probably get going during this week, it's only been up since the 22nd and it's also kind of competing with the Fantasy Baseball promo that has similar choices of products.

I grabbed two entries, one Americana Sports Legends and one 2008 Press Pass Basketball.

I think it may be a tad slow because the options of products to buy arent great. I dont mind paying a little more for things to get in the promo, but like I said the UD basketball products have all expired redemptions and most of the good cards those years were redemptions.
