I had several packs that were opened, along with one that was missing a card. By all means I'm not accusing BO of doing it since it was obvious that most of the packs were bought out from stores.

I've never bought retail, now I know why, too many pack searchers out there.

Now just to wait and see what numbers I get.

These seem to be all retail packs. I am completely a novice when it comes to football cards, though,and I have a question for anyone: I started opening my packs (nothing at all decent so far, unfortunately, but still fun) and have noticed the following:
On several cards from 2007 Donruss Classics, the player pictured and whose info is present on the back is different from the player name on the front on about 10 percent of the cards. It is very strange - they seem like error cards, because for example I have one card of Frank Gore that has the correct name on the front and in the next pack I got a Frank Gore card that is identical in every way but has Julius Jones' name on the front. There is also a Donovan McNabb card with Brett Favre's name, etc, etc. Can someone tell me what is up with these cards? Thanks!

(BTW- not even close to getting any autos, game used cards, etc. These packs don't seem likely to ever contain those type of hits!)

doczeke - what your seeing are errors. Somoene I think put the wrong sheet up for stamping (or more than likely they had the order wrong in the print sequence).

While not totally common, they're far from being rare. Some sell on ebay for a few bucks, others don't. I'm sending mine off to COMC in hopes that maybe I can get a buck or two on them from assorted player collectors.

Retail packs are totally hit or miss. But as you said, its a ton of fun opening the packs..and with 200 it does take some time. Some products will lend themselves better ot hits than others. My biggest return was on the Classcis as I pulled in auto from there. But hold our your luck on the Threads packs for a gu jsy. Prestigue also had a fair number of inserts.

Just finished ripping my packs. Managed to pull a UD Rookie Jersey of Adrian Peterson as well as two other jerseys and a no name auto. Got some decent rookies and inserts too. All in all, a fun rip for $200. Now let's see those numbers!

Thanks for the info about those. I've finished opening all now, without any jerseys, autos, etc, but fun nonetheless. What was the abbreviation you were referring to for turning in the commons, etc? Thanks again,
