1 box into the 10 box 2006 Topps Draft Picks & Prospects Football case and I pulled a Santonio Holmes Refractor rc #d 299, an upperclassman Class of '96 Eric Mould GU jersey (one color blue), and a Class Marks signature of Todd Watkins (3rd string receiver for the Raiders). We'll see if the luck holds out on the other nine boxes!

Box 2 is more of the same...Donavan McNabb Ref #d/499, a Class Marks Auto of Bruce Gradkowski, and a Senior Standouts GU SuperBowl jersey of Demetrius Williams. Overall not the greatest pull but still pull none the less
Refractors are falling at about a rate of 6 per box with 1 to 2 numbered refractors. Not sure if these odds will continue throughout the boxes but so far so good...

So, I'm wondering if you've just been lucky with your boxes so far, or if each box is going to have a hit or two. Please continue to post your box breaks...this is really helping me decide which one to get.
Congrats on the break so far and GOOD LUCK on the rest! |

Third and final box for the day...Alex Smith parallel #d 499, Tye Hill parallel #d 199, Senior Standouts 2 color
, Senior Standouts GU Senior Bowl Jersey of Joe Klopfenstein. The three boxes have been hit boxes yielding 4 jersey's and two autos along with the parallel/ref cards. Again not the best stars but Ill take it if the case continues breaking like this....

I just opened my 10 box case of 06 Topps DP&P last night and got a total of 20 hits. I got: 10 upperclassmen jerseys, 6 Senior Standouts jerseys, and 4 Class Marks Autos (including a Devin Hester). Also got numbered refractors: 8 numbered out of 499, 5 numbered out of 299, 2 numbered out of 199, 2 numbered out of 99, and 1 numbered out of 25 (Tamba Hali, plays for the Chiefs).
So I would say the average of 2 hits per box is accurate plus a couple numbered cards. |

FM..PM sent...I just might be close enough
![]() I'm hoping to break some of the 07 Topps tonight. Will post pack odds. Can someone please do the same for the 06 DP&P. I'd like to compare them, but it looks like the 06 DP&P May actually win out with the parallels. Still just not sure how well the base will sell, I know the parallels as will the gu and/or autos, but I know with Topps the base will sell, and in most cases if you did player lots could probably break even on just those...but I think its probably more work, but given the base I have on hand, I just plan on building sets. But both are fairly inexpensive breaks for the $$..and the chance at Exquisite make the risk oh so sweeter!

No problem, I actually just ordered another case right after I posted my comments. Lets hope the second is as good or better than the first.
I'm actually thinking of buying a third case and trying to sell them at a local card show. I'm thinking of asking $25 a box (about a dollar a pack) or 2 for $45. Of course then I always have wiggle room to negotiate. Good luck on your case. |
