Suggestions for a Promo ? - Page 5

Do a promo for the soldiers over seas during the christmas holiday. If anyone has a family member or friend that is overseas during the holiday that is into the sport card collecting hobby. Submit a story about a special time you've spent together with that person collecting sport cards or a special christmas spent with that person. Provide proof that the person is really overseas during the holiday (I dont know how difficult that would be).

Then whoever wins, send a box of cards to the person who is overseas that cant be home for the holiday season. After all christmas is about giving so dont win for your behalf but for someone else. Bring a little bit of joy to a soldier who is spending this holiday season in the sand eating a MRE instead of sipping hot chocolate next to a christmas tree. Bring back a good memory for a man/woman who deserves nothing but the best of them.

I think a contest for college students and below (high school and such) who dont have the money to purchase boxes and such. Do something to benefit one of them to get a hobby box or something.

This year for the March Madness......can you do a 10*10 grid? Each round the numbers change. Each round the prize gets better....perhaps a pack or two for points on round one...working up to a case or a few boxes for the final.
First round 32 winners, 2nd 16, etc.....

For the NCAA Promo - I thought one of these two incentives would be nice - the first one probably makes the most sense and gives members who ended up with a low seed something to cheer for.

$100 gift certificate for the lowest ranked team to win a game (i.e. the initial round of 32 games). So if you had the #15 seed and they knocked off #2, and no other #15's or #16's won, you'd win a $100 gift certificate.

AND/OR...

Also thought about the lowest ranked team to make it the furthest (but that doesn't set a definitive round...i.e. a #12 makes the Sweet 16, but a #8 makes the Elite 8, a #4 makes the Final Four, #2 makes the Final, etc.)...could say the lowest ranked team to make the Sweet 16.

If the baseball promo is going to be run again, add a portion to it like is done with football. If a player on your team hits 3 homeruns you get a bonus, if a pitcher strikes out 13 in a game you get a bonus, hit for the cycle you get a bonus etc.

Could also add in league leader bonuses. Would make it more fun for the long haul of the season rather than just get your team and wait 6 months for the season to be over.
