Suggestions for a Promo ?
 

Thinking about how successful the "Post your kid Giveaway" was and how entertaining it was to read all the stories, I thought we would do another month long promotion.

Any suggestions guys/gals of what we can do so that the majority can participate? Please post some ideas and we'll choose something and get it posted next week....

A favorite pull story...

Father's Day promo! Tell a story about how your dad introduced you to the hobby or if you still collect with your dad.

Super Bowl squares promo but for the NBA Finals, think there is still enough time to pull it off

A) The cards that seduced you to the hobby and why (mine are a 1978 Pete Rose and 1981 Joe Charboneau)

B) Your favorite in person auto story (mine would be Gretzky and Robin Williams)

Summer promo....

Or like someone mentioned whats your favorite pull or whats the one card youve always wanted to own and why?

If we're going with a random contest, do a favorite pet! Or go with the "Spouses that support us in our hob-- er, addiction" or "Parents that support us in our hobby!"

If we're doing a competitive one, something with the all-star game?

Tell us how you found out about the blowoutcards forum and why you come to the site.

Create your own card, best pic showing off your collection

Wish I could have gotten in on that Kid promo. My twins were born on May 4th and I never saw it. :(

As for your question, I think you should do a post a picture of your favorite means of transportation contest :)!

Your favorite Set ever and why...

Or your favorite card/set in your collection.

2 contests at the same time:

Contest for the kids 13 and under on the site for them to post their favorite card, and how they go by collection without a job.(they probally can't go breaking a bunch of boxes from their alowance)

contest for people 14 and over and share how they collect, and their favorite card.

Contest on worst deal ever made on a card. I know over the years I have made bad choices on some individual cards; would like to see what people regret.

I definitely second a Father's Day promo for sure, but to make it different from the Kid Promo, make it stories about your father's and collecting


I love the non-sports event promo's you guys are doing

A Contest for People who get in Breaks and get the worst spot.

I'm not sure of the details of it, but I believe in July is the 5 year anniversary of this forum in it's current setting. Perhaps a promo to celebrate that milestone in Blowout history.
