They call it a Hall of Fame.... He may not be the BEST baseball player to ever play the game, but who is more famous than Bill Buckner! The guy is responsible for one of the biggest stories in Major League Baseball history. He deserves to have his mugshot hanging in Cooperstown with the picture of the ball going right between his legs next to all the other great moments in baseball history.
Because in the end, we aren't going to remember the whole starting lineup from the Mets or Red Sox in that series, but we sure as hell are going to remember Mookie and Bill |

Pete Rose is an obvious choice. But I'm going with my team and 1 of my all time favorites..Jeff Bagwell. Had he not played a lot of his games in the Astrodome and more in their new home who knows what kind of numbers he may have put up. The steiroid era probably wont help either. Bagwell & Biggio..how I miss those guys now after this season...

Roger Maris.
1. Maris appeared in seven World Series, five as a member of the Yankees and two with the Cardinals. 2. 2X AL MVP 3. Record breaking 61 HR season which stood for 37 seasons until the STEROID ERA. 4. Many people forgot he played great defense. Even winning a Gold Glove during his career. Solid Hall Worthy Career that was marred by injury.
