Though I didn't get to participate in the other promos, it does look to me however that although the highs are quite as high, there are also less complete losers, and more in the middle where people won't feel as ripped off. Basically, better odds at feeling okay about your sad pick.

it still is bad. theres numerous 70-90 boxes, if you run through it all they make 4500 MORE than the previous promo, and offer between 3500-4000 LESS is prize. I got my refund so I'm happy. someone asked for numbers so i was going to try to prove blowout right that it was as good as other promos, but when i finished i ended up asking for refund. lol.

yes but ive seen it drop 5 spots in 10 minutes, it might fill, but now people are doing the math and dropping out. ill happily get back in when the promo is right there is no way we should pay more that previous promos just for less...they charged 30$ more thats 4500 alltogether, and if you run through everything they offer 2500-4000 less depending on where you get your prices. thats a swing of 7000-9000$!

yeah after looking it over again I think i pulled the gun too early as well...plus my spot was at #96 now I'm at #26...did that many people pull out and sign up at the same time or was it kind of randomly put in since people dropped out?

with all these people dropping out hopefully they will fix this one, or do a better one. I never knock BO as they are usually good but the difference in this one was huge. I'm just happy the earlier poster asked someone to run the numbers or I would still be stuck in it.

Also have to take into 2 considerations...

A lot of these boxes are 2+ years old, aka some should be on clearance by now instead

On weekends a lot of these boxes are $15-25 cheaper each, and for the higher end boxes $30-50 cheaper

wow, I agree with you guys..I too jumped the gun and got 1 spot yesterday as soon as I got the tweet about this promo not even looking at the items on the list...The previous promo's like this were so good, thought this was too.. Now I am pretty confused after looking at the list of "junk" on the list...Its a gamble, but my fault for not reviewing the items first...BO always runs great promo's and does it well...so I am not going to ask for a refund, just live and learn for the next one...Good luck to all that are participating!

16/50 so far get money back or more. have to remember these are 200$ so a 150% box you still lose 50$ just like you lost 50$ on a 120$ box on last promo, but had bigger prizes. plus you had newer products. this is all blowout. there is hardly any 2012 products and 0 giftcards. there was 3500$ worth of gcs last time none here.

The biggest disappointment of the list (even on the various cases) is that they are mostly from past seasons. 2011, 2010, some even as far back as 2003. Previous promotions had cases that weren't even released yet!

If you don't like it, don't buy in. I find it comical that some of you jumped into the promo right off the bat, without doing any homework. Now your bashing Blowout for not having a good enough promo? Either get in or move on. No reason to make multiple posts bashing Blowout.

no ones bashing them, just saying it doesnt compare to any other promo and its 200$. last time i checked its okay to give reviews and opinions for future promos so things improve. It equals more business. everyone here loves Blowout, and are just doing research and reviews on this one.

Here's the next 50...with this 50 it feels like there is very little upside. I think part of the problem here is the price point. If this were still $150 then getting a $220 box feels like a big win. At $200 it becomes "meh".
