This looks cool but total crap how 30 and 40 dollar boxes get as much credit as 200 dollar products..was gonna grab a TNA knockouts case or another rated rookies, but you'd have to buy 6 of them for one team??

Agreed. I think if BO but up recent stuff and just assigned it a lower point value, that'd still be more desirable than much of the stuff here. For example, but panini prizm basketball at 145 a box for one point. People can then decide if they'd rather do that.

Happy? I don't think moving Sportskings affects anyone's happiness one way or another. The point is we want more recent baseball products.

Hold off on buying in, people. No one's forcing us to...if no one buys in, they'll be forced to change some of the point values! I'd gladly buy a tna knockout blaster case if it got me 6 points, but it's not worth grabbing for 1 measly point when I could have 6 points and be in the contest if I buy that Flair junk for a few bucks less

The point value system is inconsistent, the prior year's setups were better. I will not be joining this year.

I'm not even a Basketball fan, and I just feel bad for the basketball collectors for this, ((especially since this is a basketball promo)) that there is only 1 product to choose from made after 2009-2010.... also for football, wish there was more options for 2012 than Press Pass Sports Town...Shoot I guess the baseball guys are wishing the same thing... I understand newer product is easier to move on a regular schedule, but if the prices are slightly elevated to your normal sale prices, isn't that a good business move?

I'm a Math guy... So I would add up the four prizes (the 4 cases), see how much the total cost of those 4 cases are.... Divide that by 64 (amount of promo slots), and then make sure each box listed is elevated at least by that number in comparison to their normal sale price...

Also... If someone gets a box of a product for $40, than a 16 box case should at least show some type of slight discount, rather than it being the same price straight forward ($640 for a 16-box case divided by 16 boxes and you still get $40 a box)... Even if the discount for getting a full case is only 5-10 bucks, there should still be a little incentive to buy a full case rather than an individual box.

I'm not trying to complain rather just stress how this can equal much better business, because I've never seen one of your guys promos start out this slow to fill!

I'm likely going to join, but I might wait a little, not sure!

I was in the Super Bowl pool and it was $224 for a case of 2010 Donruss Rated Rookies. For that purchase, I got one spot on the grid. Payouts for that one was 4 different totaling $7,000 in BO gift certificates. In this one, I would have to buy 6 of those ($1194) for one spot. Although there are 6 prizes (totaling about $5500), and only 64 spots, the odds are slightly better. Doesn't seem very good for how much money you have to put out. I know its suppose to be a bonus, but most of the products are not what people are wanting to buy. I will definitely be out of this one, but will watch for the next one. Good luck to those of you who enter this.

PEOPLE NEED TO STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PROMOS! BO is a business, they are in this to make money. Many places won't even run a promo to get your business. For the last x amount of promos, there has been nothing but complaints from so many people. Honestly, I think that people feel entitiled to something, just like everybody needs a trophy and a cookie, and that is not right. Scratch off lotto tickets aren't for everyone, but I don't see people all up in arms about their state running it. That is taking a chance to win something, just like this.

Do us all a favor, be thankful that Blowout offers promos that give you a chance to score something more. Be thankful that BO has a great forum here too. Be positive, and just KCCO.

Well this is the entitlement generation so I dont expect much. With that said I think what is throwing people off is the fact this promo isnt consistent with previous years.

For the basketball collectors, a 10-6 ratio of retail to hobby products isn't enough to choose from IMO. Anticipating to bust the buy-in boxes is more than half the fun in these promos. Not to mention basketball is in full swing.

Well the promos not that bad if you stock up on low end products. Buying any of the higher end here's just not worth it..loved the NFL playoff promo with the case of rated rookies for $249 getting you a team. Of course I was initially upset I drew the Ravens and wanted to sell them off. Good thing I didn't. Wound up with a Cam Newton Supreme patch/auto, AJ Green certified jsy/auto, Jason Snelling limited RC 1/1, Doug Martin Sportstown/50, Brandon Weeden sportstown 1/1 plate and a JaMarcus Russell limited jsy 1/2(would've loved to get this in 07 hahaha) among other great things in my assortment of random football boxes..maybe I'll get in after all. Never know if I could have another day like that with basketball products this time!

Im going to have to pass on this one. There is no really good products to choose from for entry (cheap products anyway) and the rewards do not counter balance the cost of entry IMO
