LOL! I just don't think they have the offense to hang in there. I hope I'm wrong. I've narrowed it down to 2008 masterpieces and 2009 Philadelphia football. I don't collect basketball. Anyone have experiences with either? I'm assuming any redemptions are still good although I'm still nervous about UD recently. I collect yankees and giants. I like that maserpieces you get a yankee stadium legacy memorabilia card and there's always a chance at a Jeter auto. I'm thinking I have a better shot at a nice hit with the football.

I got hosed with 08 spa. lots of redemptions (still waiting on one) and had damaged cards that UD screwed me on.

I would not do Masterpieces unless you want to set build. It's the cheapest case on the list I believe and it is not great for hits.

I am a set builder but I appreciate the suggestion. I didn't realize the masterpieces was the cheapest of the offerings. I broke it down and Philadelphia gives you 16 autos, 28 memorabilia, plus 2 more auto case hits, and 2-3 Philadelphia buybacks. Masterpieces yields 16 auto, 16 memorabilia, 1 patch case hit, 1 YSL memorabilia case hit, and 64 YSL hits. Looks like Philadelphia has a better shot at a nicer hit. The checklists are both ok, not great.

08 SPA is a chase in my opinion. I was also curious about the 04 SP Prospects but I have no idea about redemptions. Were there a lot in this product? I'd hate to contact UD with a bunch of 6 year old redemptions. Lots of autos in the product including duals triples and quads. Seems like if you want to gamble this could be a fun break.

I noticed that. plus after watching all the box breaks on here and youtube I struggled to see a redemption. hmmm. Interesting. I also lookd into the Donruss Americana Sports Legends. That looks like it could be a very fun break. The main concern is that although there's the potential for four autos per box I have a feeling you'll end up with one auto per box and a bunch of crap memorabilia.
