Seeing this post brought back memories, if you didn't pause the game and alot of time went by the umpire would turn around and say something like hey let's go and tap on the screen and it sounded just like if you would tap on the glass on the TV screen.

My favorite has to be the Madden and Call of Duty franchises

Final Fantasy VII all the way, I spent hours and hours leveling to 99 beating all of the ultimate weapons and trying to figure out a way to ressurect Arieth after she was killed by sephiroth! Can't Be done FYI without cheating!

My favorite game of all time was the old Atari game Pole Position! I loved being under 10 and feeling like I was really driving and shifting gears. Loved that game so much, I'm actually looking for one of the full sized arcade games in decent shape for the game room!

When Tetris first came out, I'd play that for hours at the arcade.

Probably most favorite, and biggest time eater, was Civilization. You would play that game and wonder where 3 hours went in not time. Honorable mention, MLB Baseball on the Mattel Intellivision. First baseball game where some form a strategy would come into play.

Are You Afraid of the Dark: Tale of Orpheo's Curse for the PC.

Used to play it with friends all the time during break period in elementary school. Couldn't ever save progress on the school's PC though, so never got to finish it. Always played it as far as we could. Then the next day start from the beginning all over again. Some how we always found something new

While deployed COD or Halo is great downtime when you have multiple systems linked together and projectors to hook up to

growing up it was street fighter and mortal kombat as faves. Now my favorite is Super Mario for 3ds because my four year old daughter loves it and is surprisingly good.

my favorite video game of all time was Super Mario Bro's 3..... I loved the way they incorporated all the mario suits and expanded the secret levels etc, I used to play the buttons off that..... love the whole mario line but that was my favorite. greatest game ever made in my opinion...............

It's a toss up for me on which I spent the most time playing. Either Super Mario World or Street Fighter II.

I am going with Tetris on the NES, having to blow in the cartridge to get it to work. I believe once we got it working we only played that game for over a year straight..
