Mine has got to be PixelJunk Monsters for the PS3. It's a simple tower defense game but me and the wife could play it for hours on end!

I'll always be a big fan of Final Fantasy VII. I can't even tell you how many hours I put into that game and still didn't come close to mastering everything. I loved the Chocobo racing part of the game entirely way too much.

My favorite video game has to be MVP Baseball 2005. I can remember spending countless hours on that game, especially in Owner mode. I mean, this was the first time you could control everything about your team from who plays on it, to the stadium, to what is sold in concession stands! Plus, I'm pretty sure I memorized the lyrics to every song in the soundtrack. That's how often I played this game. Hands down the best baseball game ever!

I'm 28 years old, and in all my years on this planet, despite the advances in graphics, gameplay and real-life simulation, I still don't think it gets much better than NHL 94 on the Sega Genesis. I have an old Sega system that plays through the TV in the back of my Lincoln SUV and things frequently turn violent over Red Wings vs. Penguins matchups with my buddies. Wrap around goals, the advent of the one-timer, and terrifying slapshots by Al Iafrate, this game simply had it all! In 20 years, I don't think I've played a more fun sports game and it stands the test of time!

Default Favorite video game

My favorite video game of all time would be the Ratchet and Clank series. The amount of collectibles in these games kept me playing for weeks.

donkey kong - I got atari 2600 in 1983 I actually thought mario jumping over barrels was high tech and to top it off I still have the atari 2600 and donkey kong and I still play it,takes my back to 1983 if only for awhile.

Thanks for the contest. Favorite game all time is Legend of Zelda. Played this for hours on end Saturday mornings as a kid. My best friend just named his baby Alexander Link, go figure.

I can think of a couple game changers for me when it came to video games. When I thought I was done with them but a game made me think, wow I have to play that. Mario on the 64 was that game to me. Even though 95% of the time I prefer sports games. Mario 64 was so much fun and so different at the time.

Thanks for the contest.
