Monday Market Report Update
By now, we all know about Jeremy Lin and every one of his Rookie products are on fire. Last week, we tipped everyone off (Check the 02/09 Market Report).
Hopefully these reports are useful. We're basically letting everyone know 1) What collectors are ordering on the website 2) What products collectors are asking for. 3) What products Dealers are looking for 4) What products we're having a hard time restocking and 5) Products that we have to pay up for to restock. Put it all together and it's a pretty accurate formula to guage which products will move up in the coming days and weeks.
Here's whats moving:
Take your pick on 2010/11 Bskt products with Jeremy Lin. It's pretty crazy that his cards are going for more than John Wall but it is what it is:
2010/11 National traesures bskt leads the way.
These have all spiked:
10/1 Donruss Rookies and Stars Basketball
10/1 Panini Absolute Basketball

Found in National Treasures, Timeless Treasures, Contenders Patches, Prestige, Rookie and Stars, Donruss Classics and Limited. So the long answer is yes just thought I would provide an exhaustive list. I live in San Jose and watched him play in high school the year they beat Mater Dei for State Title. Looking back I remember many taller and supposed more gifted athletes "getting looks" but for some odd reason this kid did stand out. Cannot explain it? Almost an aura...now the world knows why. Anyway, they are literally talking about this kid everywhere. I seen older, 50s to 70s, Chinese Americans buying anything they could find. He has caused me to rip a few boxes of basketball to no avail...even considering the $595 National Treasures which is no doubt probably $800 or sold....
