2012 Cryptozoic The Walking Dead Trading Cards


Digging a little deeper, here's some observations:

Keep an eye on 2012/13 Panini Prizm Basketball. One of those rare products that came out under the radar and took the market by storm. Very few ordered it and the Panini sold out shortly after release. Collectors jumped on early and this could be one of those products that becomes iconic down the road. Gold's #'d out of 10 have sold for up to 2500+. Refractors and Autos have sold for $500+. Even Base cards sell. Breakers have gone all in on this product. It's rare to see these high closing values out of a $100 Box. This one has some huge long term potential.

2012 FB continues to trend higher. Pretty much all the releases are selling lead by the Topps products. The Panini products are also moving well once they come off MAPP pricing. Seeing alot of buying in 2012 Bowman Chrome and Bowman Draft Hobby & Jumbos. Very steady buying the past few weeks. It's still early but starting to see interest in Prospect related products such as Bowman Draft, Bowman Platinum and Bowman Chrome's from previous years. This should pick up in Jan. as collectors try to get a jump before spring training.

2012 Bowman Sterling BB and 2012 Topps Strata Football are the big releases this week. Both have pre sold well. Strata in particular seems to be at the right price point and collectors have jumped on early and often. We'll have to see how the new concept is received but looks solid from the pre sell perspective.

2012 Panini Black has also picked up in the past week. With sellouts recently in 2012/13 Panini Absolute Memorabilia Basketball & Football and 2012/13 Prizm Bskt, the recent presells have been moving. Keep an eye on 2012 Panini Prizm FB also. The product is somewhat different than the Bskt but could move on it's coat tails.
