Btw are you the one putting together the 1600 set that keeps out bidding me at the last second for the WH pets cards? Its crazy how varying the prices are... Ive paid as high as a hundo and as low as 10.... Over halfway there now though

Only bothers me b/c im also a history nut and in addition to the WH pets set Im doing a war time generals/presidents set too...

No worries. As you can tell it hasn't deterred me fom scooping up stacks of cards from this product! Love some of the military cuts and cuts of historical signficance!

And I'll just hang on to the Grant..no need re-do a card when the print run is only 10 anyways

If someone were to do a GB, would the base + premium back be good enough to warrant a slot? If it is, then a 16 box case could be broken down into a 32 slot break at around $50 a slot.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I was looking into possibly hosting a GB for this. It looks amazing!

You should do it so that every 4 boxes has the following:

4 "hit" slots
1 "base" slot
1 "premium base" slot

That would mean for every 16-box case, there would be 24 slots. You would be guaranteed a 1 in 24 shot at a case hit. The base and premium base slots would have added value.

This is how I would do it if I were to run a break.

I have been opening Sport Kings series B for the Blowout promos. And a few prior. And have found it refreshing not having to worry about pulling redemptions that are expired or takes months or eventually never are fulfilled. With the exception of the one pulled from “B” I believe a couple of weeks ago. Now that is a redemption that I would not mind pulling. I’m even going to take the money I would spend on a box of 2011 NT. And get a few boxes of E instead.

And I know there is an exclusive buyer on this site. Who I will not name. For the cards I will not PC. LOL

Sport Kings LP is pleased to announce that the release date for Series E will be May 3, 2012.

Each box of Sportkings Series E will contain five cards. Three Base Cards (including random minis), one Base Card - Premium Back and one Insert Card (either an Authentic Game-Memorabilia Card or an Authentic Autograph Card-hard signed).

Series E will also feature some outstanding "case hits". Each 16-box inner case will include either a Cut Signature Card, a Spectacular Patch Card or a 1/1 Art Card painted by famed sports artist Jared Kelley.

There are 3 16-box inner cases in a Master Case.

We think you get the point. Out standing "case hits" to go along with all the other great cards in Sportkings Series E.

The tradition continues with such Sport Kings as; Bjorn Borg, Isiah Thomas, Annika Sorenstam, Martina Navratilova, David Robinson, Eddie Murray, Dick Vitale, Kyle Petty, Paul Molitar and many more.

Series E

As you can tell from the section above Sportkings Series E will have an absolutely amazing collection of 1/1 Art Cards.

In September 2011 Dr. Price signed an exclusive agreement with well-knows artist Jared Kelly to paint For Sport Kings and related companies.

"I have been admiring Jared's work for some time now and felt that his work would be an awesome addition to my trading card companies," said Price. "His painting directly on trading cards brings another dimension to the hobby and I know collectors of my products are going to enjoy collecting his work."

Most recently, Kelley painted twenty-two of the forty-two US Presidents for Upper Deck's Goodwin Champions product. The cards Kelley painted currently sell for upwards of $700 in the hobby.

"Jared will be painting his first cards for Sportkings Series E, which will be released May 3, 2012. We will be adding a couple of new wrinkles in the painting of these cards to make them even better than the ones Jared has done before," said Price. "I am excited to have Jared join our family as we are all dedicated to make trading cards that collectors want to collect."

Jared is an illustrator and portraitist living in rural Alabama. He received a BFA from Auburn University Montgomery in Studio Painting and taught visual art to grades 6-12 for three years after graduating college. He is also the Executive Assistant for the Alabama Alliance for Arts Education. Part of his time is also spent hosting yearly paint classes at Camp Smile-A-Mile for children and teens fighting cancer, as well as for their families. Some of Jared's past clients have been Alabama Governor Don Seigleman, Fredrick G. Levin, the Upper Deck Company, Baptist Medical Centers, and talk radio host Greg Budell.
