I'm very excited about the return of legendary cuts. This has been a favorite product of mine most years, and this time I hope it becomes a favorite of mine again.

Looks awesome but for 200. I think it should be about $150. The president cards look awesome.

If the presell cases are fair I might try one! I would really like to hit one of the big president or Camelot books. I know a guy who pulled a George Washington auto out of one of the UD products a few years back and sold it for $20k.

I was really hoping for a new Legendary Cuts product with all of the problems UD is having. So I can't wait for this. Locked up a 5 box case for $920 so I don't think pricing will be too bad.

There is going to be so much filler on this set it'll be ridiculous. Good luck to those brave enough to dive in!!

Stated Min per (5) Box Case:

At LEAST (1) of:

- Multi-player (around 40);
- Presidential (max of 215) total, based on max serial nums
- Exquisite (max of 500) total, based on max serial nums

That's 755 cases -- so call it 700, as we know not all the cards are max issues.

That's 3500 boxes.

Extremely limited, based on those calculations.

Your numbers are waaaaaayyyy off. Your not calculating in all the different checklist and cut variations.

Legendary Cuts - 200 names on the checklist (91 of these names are HOF's). Hand numbered to 35 or less.

Legendary Black Cuts - 400 names on the checklist (Including 75 bronx bombers) hand numbered to 40 or less.

Exquisite Cuts - 100 Names on the list, hand numbered to 5 or less.

This also does not includes the 1/1 and all the other presidential cuts of course.

The case statement listed above only lists: Mulit/Presidential/Exquisite per case.

I wasn't calculating the total cuts, just the total possible boxes IF they adhere to that guideline.

i.e., my point was is that there's only (at min) ONE of those per 5 box case; hence, based on the numbers for them, only so many possible cases; and, therefore, possible boxes.

The way I understand it, you will be getting a SUPER hit every 10 cases. You will have a nice hit every 5 boxes. Like most products this will be hit or miss, but I can see breaking a couple boxes for a chance at George or Abe!

It already is. I placed a pre-order direct a couple weeks ago.

I re-did the math on the above stated comments, and -- based on their advertising sheet, I just can't see how there are as many boxes as otherwise stated.

They are guaranteeing at least one of the stated "premium" hits per case.... so I think the product will be decent. And will save to open at the national if the release date is on time.

They look absolutely terrible.

Just glued to an unbordered piece of cardboard..opened on the sides and bottom

No players faces on the cards.

And a 200.00 price tag

Makes this product an absolute FAIL before it even launches.

For 200.00 you can probably buy very good full autographs of 85-90% of the product run and still have money left over.

This product hit its prime between 2004-2006...

UD hit its prime before that. A garbage company dishing out garbage products, that will no doubt sell in droves to the masses that will be mad that they get 14.99 BIN for their cut up Jim "catfish" Hunter HOF Card clipping elmer's glued to a boring vanilla card stock

Camelot Quad Cut:
- 1-of-1 four folding booklet card of John F. Kennedy, Jackie Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, and Ted Kennedy!

Then why in the picture is it written 2/5?

Just a mock-up. They used the /5 designation because, I believe, that's what the used for the presidentials.

your numbers may be on with the info we have, but something is not right, there is no way they are just making +/- 700 cases.

guarantee there will be at least 2000+ cases made

I agree, and this is why.

If you total up each card set, that is 800. Now, evern if we were just to day that each card is numbered by 5 - that make 4,000 cards (or boxes). That would roughly make 1,000 cases. However, we know that is not going to be true in the end. Hell, say the average is just #10... That pumps up the case production run to 2k.

I'll let someone else figure it out.

I appreciate the link, but what does that have to do with over all production run and case numbers?

Heck, do one better. If you're going to the National, open it there and get some incentive cards!
