Around 450-500 for us. IDK Product looks good, but I just can't see getting 500 dollars value out of 95% of boxes when your retired auto and current auto both won't be numbered below 100. Legends numbered to 208 scares me too.

Seems like a really expensive version of Tribute. If it was closer to 350, maybe i'd take a chance, but not at 450-500.

Im tempted to pre buy at $430 a box but think it's a little to high??? was hoping for like $350 a box...................

The real question is how many of the hits will be redemptions that never get filled?

Topps really needs to expand the auto checklist it uses in most of its products. The same guys sign for pretty much every product they put out there.

For high end stuff like this they should spend the $ to get some big names that are exclusive to Five Star. Otherwise it's tough to get people to pay $500/box when they can only hit the same autos they can pull from a $100 box.

So, does anyone know if the auto checklists are final? I mean, there aren't a lot of scrubs in the "current player" auto list, and I will pre-order if they aren't going to be watering down the list.

(I see they have TBD in the cut section, so that would imply the other sections are not TBD.)

Couldn't have said it better...especially with a new product launch. Don't get me wrong. I love Five Star Football and baseball looks gorgeous, but I think anything over $400 is a little too risky here. I will try a box or two, but if it had a couple unique auto's or price point was lower, Id be buying a case.

I understand ripping wax is a gamble and I place a lot of value in the entertainment/chase. But w/o anything further I think that beyond a sample box or two, Id rather 4 $100 boxes and some beer money than 1 box of this.

kidding. but seriously, the pictures look amazing; however, I just do not ever see myself paying that kind of coin for a box. Maybe ill try to run a group break of it. we'll see. that'd be cool for it to be my first break considering there would not be many cards to handle !

Great, ready for the 1 color jersey dump. I like the part where it says "And you thought Topps Five Star football was great". UUUUMMMMMMMM NO! I wonder how many 1 color jerseys 1/1's will be in this crap this time around.
