Hmmmm.

Chrome is usually a product that I'd dive right into but there are some worrysome things on this sell sheet for '13.

-Base set has increased by 20 vets, meaning the RC hits will be thinner than 2012.
-Die Cut inserts are likely just repeats of 2012 ... not cool.
-RC Autos are more plentiful (and likely have less pop than 2012). Blue autos were numbered to /99 this year and it would appear they're numbered to /150 next year. More RC autos mean less prospect autos per case.
-Chrome is leading with Berrios, Rienzo and Olt all over this sell sheet. Last year they featured Darvish, Harper, Castellanos etc. I think that's a step in the wrong direction.
-No futures inserts this year ... Looks more gimmicky with minis and retro stuff
-Price point is higher than 2012.

I'm skeptical ...

If the price point wasn't higher, I'd still try. May do one case, but the autos don't blow me away.

The Blue refractor autos were /150 in 2012. The blue waves were /50. Same as this..

Guess regular Bowman will be the way to go. Then wait until BDPP.

No sir.

Blue RC autos are numbered to /99 in 2012 Bowman Chrome (not talking about prospect autos). But on this sell sheet, Blue RC autos are numbered to /150 ... so more of 'em.

Checklist will be more crucial than ever with this set, but if it's poor, this could be a $500 case very quickly.

The only thing that looks pretty awesome to me in this product is the throwback autos which are a beautiful thing from a classic set, but will be impossible to pull and not worth cracking for a shot at them. will wait for more info but not looking good to be at this point.
