The Panini America Routing Table Today: Sweet NFL Rookie Cards Headed Your Way

Some early images...More info to come!

http://paniniamerica.wordpress.com/2...ed-football-2/

Panini America — with the help and handiwork of 2011′s top rookies – will begin penning a new chapter in the proud history of one of its most popular brands when 2011 Certified Football hits in late October.
For the first time ever, the product’s heavily chased Freshman Fabric Rookie Cards will feature on-card autographs.

“2011 Certified represents our continued commitment to delivering the top rookies to collectors with on-card autographs,” says Ben Ecklar, Panini America’s Director of Product Development. “The popular Freshman Fabric Rookie Card subset has never included on-card autographs before. This year it will. That’s a huge leap forward for this brand and it should be openly embraced by collectors who’ve been loyally chasing Certified for more than a decade.”
The product also features the return of several familiar favorites, including the cornerstone Mirror parallels and such memorabilia-tinged Certified calling cards as Fabric of the Game and Shirt Off My Back.
Each box of 2011 Certified Football will deliver four autograph or memorabilia cards (with at least one autograph guaranteed), one Mirror parallel numbered to 250 or less, two New Generation RCs numbered to 999 or less and two additional inserts, parallels or Rookie Cards.
Other highlights:
  • All Freshman Fabric Rookie Cards will be numbered to 499 or less
  • Autographed memorabilia cards numbered to 25 or less from the likes of Emmitt Smith, Dan Marino, Jerry Rice, Joe Namath, Barry Sanders and Brett Favre
  • Mirror Material Gold, Emerald and Black cards with prime memorabilia pieces or autographs numbered to 25 or less
  • Platinum Hot Boxes inside which every base card is replaced by a limited parallel card
“Collectors know what to expect from Certified and they see it as a product that consistently delivers value every year,” Ecklar says. “It doesn’t need a universal overhaul from year to year. But with a few minor tweaks, we hope it continues to be one of the most collected products of the football card season.”
Enjoy this exclusive sneak peek gallery and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for complete updates on 2011 Certified Football.

Not happy to see that they went from 2 guaranteed autos last year to 1 this year. It was a good product last year except for the 14 redemptions I pulled.

Previewing the Sickness to Come in 2011 Absolute Memorabilia, Certified Football

by Tracy Hackler

A funny thing happened on my way to documenting the packout process for 2011 Timeless Treasures Football at the Panini America printing facility earlier today: I got ambushed by the memorabilia-card brilliance of 2011 Absolute Memorabilia Football and 2011 Certified Football.

Not to worry. I plan on posting plenty of images tomorrow highlighting the quality time I spent with Timeless Treasures. But today, this space is reserved for a selection of spectacular — and, in some cases, filthy — Tools of the Trade and War Room cards that are sure to drop as many jaws now as they will when they’re pulled from packs when Absolute hits at the end of the month.

A bit of a warning: These images may cause some viewers to become light-headed. We recommend you take a seat before viewing. (In light of yesterday’s otherworldly performance from Cam Newton, you may find the Newton cards in the following gallery particularly dizzying.)

Newton’s Theory of Wow: Cam Continues to Shine with Special Panini America Delivery

by Tracy Hackler

Make no mistake about it: Carolina Panthers superstar quarterback Cam Newton is enjoying one of the greatest starts to a career in NFL history.

Through his first four games, Newton has passed for almost 1,400 yards and five touchdowns, rushed for 133 yards and four more scores and he’s been a finalist for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week honors every week. But football card collectors will likely find Newton’s performance on Wednesday to be his most impressive feat yet.

That’s when he returned to Panini America headquarters what no doubt will be some of the most coveted Rookie Cards of the 2011 season. The awe-inspiring shipment included Newton’s on-card handiwork for upcoming Panini America NFL trading card products 2011 Absolute Memorabilia, 2011 Crown Royale, 2011 Certified and 2011 Gold Standard.

His Absolute Memorabilia gems were rushed to the Panini America printing facility within minutes of arrival for inclusion in that product, which is packing out as we speak. We’ve had the chance to spend a little more quality time with the others. Now, it’s your turn . . .

I don't mind the drop to one auto per box as long as they can get one multi colored patch per box. That would be sweet.

Its a shame that the Cam 1/1's are going to go to someone whose redemption expired.

Panini America Drool Gallery: 2011 Certified Football’s Freshman Fabric Parallels

by Tracy Hackler

Let’s begin with this: 2011 Certified Football begins shipping a week from Monday. So in honor of that momentous occasion (and as a fitting way to speed you into the weekend), I ventured to the massive acquisitions vault in the far back corner of Panini America HQ earlier today to unearth the following gems for a little sneak peek splendor.
Bolstered by on-card signatures and player-worn memorabilia from some of the NFL’s top rookies, these Freshman Fabric parallels are sure to leave collectors lucky enough to pull them certifiably mesmerized. Heck, just looking at them is probably enough to turn the trick. Here, see for yourself.

Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2011 Certified Football (36 Must-See Images)

by Tracy Hackler

2011 Certified Football — the perennial collector favorite that starts shipping Monday – has received a steady dose of quality control triple-coverage this week as Panini America NFL brand managers Ben Ecklar, Carlos Torrez and Aik Tongtharadol have spent the last two days ensuring that everything is falling as it should.
But judging from the hits I’ve seen (profiled below in all of their gallery glory), not even triple coverage can contain this beast. Make no mistake about it: 2011 Certified Football is going to score — and score big.

The product once again is steeped in stunning game-worn memorabilia from the NFL’s all-time legends, autographs from its top superstars and rookies and some of the most venerable and embraced inserts and parallels in the business. Enjoy your first extended look at the product now and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance next week for a special episode of Panini Unwrapped.
