I'm kind of excited about this product. But from what I've been reading about the past years value it may not be worth it....any thoughts on this?

Most products have 50-60% value coming out of the cases. This is true for all manufacturers, although Panini seems to be putting slightly less value in their cases than Topps/UD. Somehow they get away with it year after year. Beckett tries to artificially inflate prices in their magazine. But everyone knows most people are not paying $8 for a single color jersey card of a semi-star player. Sometimes a product comes along which bucks the trend and actually produces 75-100% value coming out of it. Prices immediately go up as collectors hear about the good hits and demand outweighs supply. Picking which product will do that is a totally crap shoot.

But with products like Bowman Sterling, you do get a lot of content for the dollar. Not too many base cards, a good amount of parallels, dozens of jersey cards, a half-dozen auto's as well.

In fact, for a single box, you get:
- 12 Rookie Cards
- 4 Autograph Cards
- 2 Autograph Relic Cards
- 12 Relic Cards
- 1 Dual Relic Box Topper

That's 19 hits in a box that costs $260. That's $13.68 per hit. Most hits are single color jersey's that don't have a lot of value. But still, that's a lot of content. And with this years RC class doing so well, a lot of the base RC's might actually have some value. And low #'d parallels even more so.

We should start seeing some cards show up on eBay tomorrow, if not tonight. I just hope Topps didn't rush this product out the door with bad QC, or missing hits, or just poor/boring hits like with TTT.

there are a lot of hits, but so many of them only sell for $2-$3. even if you hit a $100 auto, you can still very easily lose on the box.
bowman sterling has typically made the top rookie autos tough to pull, loading lots of lower tier rookie autos.
will be interesting to see how this pans out.
