Nice ideas and concept, much like the 2012 Topps Archives BB, but I wish the had chosen better years for the base card designs. None of the years they chose (1959, 1976, 1985, and 1986) are particularly popular within the hobby.

My favorites which I would have liked to see them use would be 1962, 1969, 1979, and 1984. I'd toss in 1955, 1956 and 1957, but those have all already been used for Topps Heritage...speaking of which, why hasn't Topps brought back Heritage FB?

Not to mention they're using a couple designs they already used in regular Topps Football (1984 and the year of the "tallboys")
