This June, to commemorate this storied franchise, In The Game is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Broad Street Boys - The History of the Philadelphia Flyers Hockey Franchise in trading cards. Each box will contain 14 cards. 8 Base Cards and 6 Inserts. Production run on this product will be extremely limited.
The Base Card set will depict the history of the Flyers. Subset sets include; Expansion Year, Broad Street Bullies, Triumph and Tragedy, Contending in the 90s, New Millennium and Continuing the Tradition. From Lou Angotti of the 1967-68 team to Brayden Schenn of the 2011-12 team.

The insert sets won't disappoint either. The 6 inserts in each box will be a combination of Authentic Game-Used Memorabilia Cards and Authentic Autograph Cards.



Game-Used Memorabilia Cards

Checklist includes; Bobby Clarke, Peter Forsberg, Mark Howe, Ilya Bryzgalov, Tony Amonte, Don Saleski, Jeremy Roenick to name a few.

Checklist includes; John Vanbiesbrouck, Braydon Coburn, P.J. Stock, Bill Barber, Ron Hextall, Dave Schultz, Bob Kelly, Reggie Leach to name a few.

Checklist includes; Bernie Parent, Rick MacLeish, Brian Propp, Luke Richardson, Jody Shelley, Sergei Bobrovsky, Mel Bridgman, Dan Carcillo, Ray Emery, Eric Lindros, John Leclair to name a few.

The Philadelphia Flyers won two Stanley Cups in the 70s. The first Stanley Cup win came over the Boston Bruins in 1974 and the Battle For The Cup Memorabilia card features Bernie Parent/Rick MacLeish/Dave Schultz/Gilles Gilbert/Terry O'Reilly/Phil Esposito.

Then in 1975 the Flyers prevailed over the Buffalo Sabres for their back-to-back Stanley Cup wins. This Battle For The Cup Memorabilia card features Bernie Parent/Bobby Clarke/Bill Barber/Gilbert Perreault/Danny Gare/Rick Martin.

Broad Street Boys Autograph Cards

From 1967 to 2012, the Broad Street Boys Autograph Card checklist will not disappoint. There will be both black and orange variations. Here are two samples of the great cards in the checklist.

PaperCuts

Cards on the PaperCuts checklist include; Pelle Lindbergh, Fred Shero, Kate Smith, Barry Ashbee, Roger Neilson, Wayne Stephenson, Peter Zezel, Brad McCrimmon and Rick Lapointe.
Raised to the Rafters

We are very pleased with this Authentic Game-Used Memorabilia checklist of Broad Street Boys whose numbers hang proudly from the rafters. They are the building blocks of the franchise.
Autograph Checklist

The Autograph Card checklist is now posted.
Premium Base Cards

The Base Cards in this product will not disappoint. There is a 100-card Base Set with silver and gold versions.
Sign Man
Even only a few Flyers fans know his real name. They simply know him as “Sign Man."

Dave Leonardi has been making Flyers fans smile since 1972 with the comical and sometimes controversial signs that he holds up during games. His signs have occasionally infuriated officials, during a game at the Spectrum in which Dave thought the Flyers were getting short-changed by the officials, he displayed a sign that represented an eye chart. Linesman Matt Pavelich was not amused and had a verbal battle with Dave over the glass.
Over the years, Sign Man has taken his place in Flyers lore. In a Hockey Hall of Fame “time capsule” for notable characters from the 1970s, Leonardi is mentioned with Derek Sanderson, Dave “Tiger” Williams, Don Cherry and Peter Puck.
Dave brings around 100 signs to each game. He has about 300 more at home. Each sign is 19-by-22-inches. Some of his sign ideas are derived from listening to what the fans say around him. A teacher by trade, Dave now 60 says; "I’m just having fun with 19,000 of my friends.” Well here is some exciting news for fans of the Sign Man and collectors of In The Game trading cards. Randomly inserted into boxes of Broad Street Boys will be a bonus autograph card of the Sign Man. This card will not replace another card, it will added to the box making the total number of cards in that box 15.

Remember only 4,000 packs/boxes are being made. 14 cards per pack/box made up of 8 Premium Base Cards and 6 inserts (a mix of Autograph & Game-Used Memorabilia Cards).

Lot’s going on at In The Game, feels a little like Christmas time at the North Pole, very, very busy.
It is only seven more days until the release of Broad Street Boys, a tribute to the legendary Philadelphia franchise and we are now SOLD OUT of this product. Thank you collectors for your support.
We know it is very hot in Philadelphia today but it’s going to get hotter next Friday.
The Game-Used Memorabilia cards are stunning but wait until you see the Premium Foil Base Cards.
