2011 Leaf Pop Century Trading Cards

Configuration: 12 boxes per master case*. 8 autographed cards per box.
*Each master case contains Two 6-box inner cases.


2011 marks the return of the one of the non-sport hobby's most exciting releases, "Leaf Pop Century." This release features the single greatest celebrity checklist of all time, including: Britney Spears, Pam Anderson, Linsay Lohan, Mickey Rourke, Harrison Ford, Michael Imperioli, Cam Newton, Nolan Ryan, Christina Applegate, Mark Ingram, Dennis Rodman, William Shatner, Jason Alexander, Vince Neil, Kim Kardashian, Stan Lee.

- Look for double and triple signed cards in this exciting release, as well as new insert autograph sets featuring the hottest names in Pop Music, Reality Television, Science Fiction and much more!

The limo was refurbished after the assassination and put back into service. So odds are it's just a swatch cut from the removed material. Though not from the rear two rows (I assume they'd be in evidence along with other bits like the windshield).

What if Brian Gray decides he made a mistake by saying these cards or the amount of cards would be in this product. Considering the bait and switch pulled on the Ali product this would worry me. If the owner cant even get straight whats in his product, wouldnt someone find this tough to buy?

I am ordering a case (originally it was going to be more), but with the price over doubling and the lack of new design, I decided I'll only gamble so much. I got an email from BG saying that:
a.) the hits won't be individually packed (so 1 box = 1 pack basically)... which I think hurts this product in the long run
b.) Miley Cyrus hasn't signed in time and is planned to be in the next pop century release.

While I haven't seen any actual proof, not to long ago Leaf tweeted that they received the signed stickers back from Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears and a lot of the big signers (Pam Anderson, Shatner, Ford, etc.) signed with the last release, so I assume they're left over stickers. I may be alone on this, but I was disappointed that they brought in athletes. Last year I pulled 4 different Bruce Jenners... and as a person who only PC's Suh and entertainment autographs- It sucked.
I just want to see the Kennedy piece.

I'm glad that swatch cards have a picture of a person who wore it. In the first release the swatch card looked nice but a picture brings more cooler look. Looks like a great product.

I too am really disappointed/worried about the athletes. I can give Bruce Jenner and Dennis Rodman a pass as they have both appeared on TV shows, but this is definitely a trend I don't like.

The swatch cards are a HUGE improvement over last year. I loved the huge swatch size and cool variations from last years set, but the design was so bland that no one wants to collect 'em.

Actually I just saw an article about the guy that did the refurbishing of the limo. He kept a few swatches of the rear seat where Kennedy sat. The pictures showed that the swatches he had still had blood stains on them.
I guess the only materials that were removed and replaced were the back seat area that was damaged. So it is a good possibilty that the swatch is from the rear seat area.

Leaf posted on their Facebook that they had completed a signing with Charlie Sheen and so I emailed them and they confirmed that he will be in the Pop Century as well as future sports releases (I assume like Fans of the Game w/ Donruss).

I am interested to see how they are going to incorporate Mark Ingram into Pop Century?!
I didn't think they did any sports stuff in Pop Century.
