They're reaching out to him via Twitter?

So Walking Dead 1 was a fail because it didn't have Lincoln?

if it was the only set that they released then I would say yes. You can't release a breaking bad set and not have cranston in it.

If this set's mega-popular, you don't think they come up with another one?

Walking Dead could have been one and done.

The breaking bad set is seasons 1-5 Cranston is the show, I am sure the cards will still sell even if hes not in there as an autograph but it would do alot better if he was

They can make another set not based on seasons. Think of what RA does with Star Trek and Bond. Quotable, Heroes & Villains, Legends....

If it sells out, they'll find a way to make another. I have a feeling, regardless of whether Cranston signs or not, this will sell out.

I'm looking forward to this set even if he doesn't sign (I probably wouldn't pull or be able to afford one, anyway). The show is great, a card set based on a great show is great. The lack of one thing doesn't ruin it for me.

I agree the product will still sellout just stinks if Cranstons not in there as an autograph. I think he will be though he seems like a good person and I think he will come through.

I agree without Walter White this set is a fail. . . Maybe -- just maybe if they get *everyone* else it will be ok. . . but this is a show about Walter White. . . No Cranston no reason to make a set -- IMHO.

Walking Dead is definitely an ensemble cast.

I agree with this 100%. WD is another animal entirely.

That was just an example where the main character didn't have autos in the product, yet it was still a success. Both series' have an ensemble cast with a well-defined main character.

The popularity of Breaking Bad should make this set a hit whether it includes Cranston autos or not. Non-card-collectors will likely buy in because they like the show.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree. . . Breaking Bad is literally the story of Walter White. . .

I get that. But just because he doesn't have an auto in the set doesn't make it a failure, that's all I'm trying to say.

In the new announcements they list the following autograph:

Louis Monaco from Breaking Bad*

Any idea who he is? My google-fu is failing. . .

I still think Crypto will come through with a Cranston autograph and it probably will sell for $250 to $350

That seems really high to me. . . that would put it higher than Robert Downey Jr. Iron Man autos, for example. Also double Daryl autos from Walking Dead, 4x more than Rick autos from Walking Dead. . . but who knows. . . I'm often wrong.
