Josh Freeman for Curtis Painter & DHB. (me getting painter & dhb)

Overall Point wise it matches up, Freeman has only had 1 good game and averages around 13-16 points a week), and I already have Brees and a decent rest of my team (I have crossed 1000 points, next closest is 972, but have a 5-3 record for 2nd place due to a horrible last week and a bad one a few weeks back - too many bys to fill in)
Painter and DHB together should out score freeman on a weekly basis. Stat wise Painter is really just about 600 yards less and 2 td and a few int off (since he didn't start from the beginning of the season) and DHB would just be extra gravy

I accepted and it only takes 7 veto votes for it to not go through. I'm looking more longterm than short term.

Is anyone else more desperate for a QB? Losing Freeman shouldn't hurt you, unless Brees goes down with an injury The acquisition of Painter is useless. Is there any free agent that could come close to outproducing DHB? Could you acquire a better WR in a 1 for 1 trade?

I don't this deal doing too much for you, runrickyrun makes a good point about if anyone else is more desperate for a QB. Depending on how your league looks I could see someone having a use for Freeman, and he would likely give up something a lot better than DHB since that's essentially all you're getting. No way under unless Brees gets hurt are you starting Painter over him.

I accepted and everyone seems to be ok with it, the guy I'm trading w/only has painter and stafford, and the rest of his team is pretty shot. Here is my team, and the waivers are horrible, though I have a claim in for Skelton right now. In the past week, all I picked up were TO and Ocho-stinko and both are dropped anyway...Point wise I'm getting 2 for 1 since painter and freeman have pretty much identical numbers and bhb is just gravy on top for whatever he might do...I see your points though, but we play a lot of guys each week...and being at the top I never get waiver priority
