Default Need help from the experts 20oz silver coin China peacock

Hello, a friend has offered me this 20oz China Peackock coin. I tried to do research with very little info. It's a 1993 China Peackock 20oz coin, comes with inner and outer boxes and auth card with 500 minted. Is here anything I need to verify, look for, if it's a fake, condition even though it's incase? Any info and thoughts on value would be appreciated. Here are some pics. Sorry it's small

Even if it's an air-tite case, can you do the magnet test?

Btw, how much is your friend asking for?

Thanks for the help guys. He's asking for around 10k and negotiable.. I'm sorry, i don't know much about coins, i don't even know what the magnet test is. Reason for me being interested is I look for investment pieces.. I've seen them sell doing a quick google search from 9-20k..

you have a local coin shop that can test the Density for you? The magnet isn't 100% I seen fake silver bars that weighed right and passed the test. We had to saw through a bar to see it was only silver coated .

Joe, go to china-mint.info/forum. They should be able to help you determine the authenticity. And according to the latest pricepedia the price for omp is around $5500, $9500 for ms68 and $20k for ms69.
