Default Copper?

Anyone buy any copper rounds?

You think it will ever be more valuable than it is now?

Its not really a big risk to buy a roll or two I was just wondering if anyone had bought any.

That's what I was thinking. I can get a roll for the same price as one silver round.

cool to look at, horrible investment. $1.70 a piece x16=27.20 per lb, when Cu is only 3.26 a lb. It will 100 years at least before we see $27 copper. If you are looking for cheaper metals, look at US pennies pre 1982, and Canadian nickels from 55-1981. Nickel is only around $8 a lb, but in the last decade has been as high as $40 per lb. If we go to war with Syria, or anyone else. It will be back at $40lb or higher, almost over night.

I Don't Buy Copper Rounds For Investment, More Just For The Fun Of Collecting Cool Cheap Coins.

This. I've been trying to do some research on copper rounds and when I finally did the math it just didn't work out. I love the idea of the zombucks series, but I just don't know if it would be worth it in copper (unfortunately all ican afford in my current broke college student state lol) they might be worth something down the line if they truly stop minting them, but otherwise I don't see it. You can buy straight up 1 pound bars tho that make more sense. I don't know, just my uneducated thoughts

The zombucks series is sweet but apparently there are already 8 new coin designs coming out in 2014

I think they will have a lot of collectability as long as they stick to their word and really limited the production
