Default Pretty decent deal for ebay?

New to collecting silver and for the most part I am forced to use eBay at the moment, stuff seems marked up at least $1-$2 over premium but at least I get some eBay bucks back and I can use BML to make purchases. Anyways I saw this under the daily deals...

Silvertowne Logo 5oz 999 Fine Silver Bar | eBay

Seem like a good deal? Thanks

Not a bad deal. Those bars don't carry too much of a premium. Ever. They are a great budget friendly -just the basics - new stacker company though.

Watch out though, bullion purchases almost never give eBay bucks.

QFT...also be wary of ebay buys. only buy from people with very well established feedback and before you buy anything off there you need to get your hands on some stuff to test it. I haven't bought anything from ebay but I went on amazon yesterday and bought a 500g scale with .01g increments and some neodymium magnets for testing silver. I'd recommend something similar for you. That way when you get in something that you bought on ebay if for any reason something is off about it you can send it back and not end up stuck with it.

So far I have only bought from apmex, DBS coins, and sgsenterprise. Wasn't planning on buying from anyone that wasn't considered reputable. I wasn't sure about DBS coins but their coins were legit.

Silvertowne has been in business since 1949, one of the largest silver companies in the US. Newer bars carry very small premiums(which is what you want), although there are alot of older bars that go for alot,(some as high as 10x spot)

this ebay seller, is the actual company, can't get more legit than that.
