Smile Coin Collection Pricing Help?

A family friend asked that I help them sell this coin collection on eBay.

I did some basic research on some of the stuff, but was hoping anyone knowledgeable in coins can offer up an estimate?

As you can see, it's not a professional collection. The coins show wear and markings and have not been cleaned (which I hear might be a good thing as opposed to cleaning them?)

***EDIT: Here's the list of most of the major contents:

(6) Morgan Dollars : (1883, 1884, 1897, 1901, 1921, 1921
(12) Peace Dollars : (1922 (x6), 1923 (x3), 1924 (x2), 1926
(8) Eisenhower Dollars : (1776-1976-D (x4), 1972, 1974-D (x2), 1978-D
(7) Susan B. Anthony Dollars : (1979 (x5), 1980 (x2)
(23) Kennedy Half Dollars (64-69) : 1964 (x6), 1965 (x2), 1966 (x2), 1967 (x2), 1968-D (x4), 1969-D (x7)
(33) Kennedy Half Dollars (71-94) : 1971 (x3), 1971-D, 1972 (x5), 1973 (x2), 1974 (x3), 1978, 1979 (x2), 1980-P (x3), 1981-P, 1983-P (x5), 1984-D, 1985-P, 1989-P (x2), 1992-D, 1994-D (x2)
(4) Kennedy Half Dollars (1776-1976)
(1) Franklin Half Dollar : 1950

(45) Wheat Back Pennies

Miscellaneous U.S. Coins : 1941 Nickel, 1946 Nickel, 1948 Nickel (x2), 1949 Nickel, Buffalo Nickel (year is worn off), 1952 Penny, 1937 Mercury Dime, 1944 Mercury Dime, 1951 Quarter

(65) Miscellaneous Foreign Coins

Paper Monies:
(1) 1993 Deutsche Bundesbank 10 Zehn Deutschemark
(1) 1983 El Banco De Mexico 500 Pesos

Anyways,
Here's a few pictures:

Thanks in advance for any help!

In order to get any more accurate information, I would need dates and mint marks of the American coins.

There's some silver coins mixed in with the European currency, but most of it is common/not highly valuable.

A lot of those Morgans and Peace Dollars are worn pretty badly.

Tomorrow I'll type up a list of the dates/contents and add it to the first post.

Thanks for the reply, I'll have the update tomorrow morning sometime.

Thanks, I am interested to sell for this person, but I honestly only have a very rough estimate of what they're worth. I don't want to undersell since it's a family friend. Definitely willing to work a fair price, though.

Sounds good, diligence is rewarded when you take the time to ID what you have.

You may get a few more dollars(but after fees you may not) by breaking it up and selling on ebay, but smackvay is your best bet. Instant payment and no worries about someone returning fakes back to you, it definitely happens alot on ebay.

I've found that Blowout is a great resource for selling coins. I sold a large silver dollar collection about 2 years ago to a member here and we worked out a great price and the deal went smoothly (it was a $2500 deal! )

eBay is great for locating buyers, but doing business off eBay is somehow safer these days for sellers!

I updated the OP with some more detail, can anyone come up with a value for the lot or if there are any individually valuable coins? I did preliminary research, but I'm no pro!

Just wanted to bump this up to see if anyone had any serious assessment/estimate of value for the lot?

Thank you!

At first glance it looks like you've probably got not much more than silver value in the silver ones. With all due respect, you can't really expect someone to look up 100 coins for you. You can invest around $10 in a Redbook and do it yourself.

Hi,

Thanks for the response. I hope I didn't come off as though I wanted a detailed and exact value. I was just hoping for someone to roughly estimate the value of the lot. If I were to list on eBay, I'd like to know how to price and what to accept as an offer. Just a very rough estimate, $50 or $5000? I know everything isn't anything spectacular, but I know there is some value to it.

Thanks!
