Default Great Book to Keep an Eye out for: Giant Size X-Men #1

Giant Size X-Men #1 continues to sell well, and this book continues to rise in value, and you'd be surprised how obtainable it still is. I think many people overlook it as it's an annual type, giant-sized issue, but important because it is introduces several new X-Men and has the second full appearance of the Wolverine.

It's a mid-70's book and if you start to poke around garage sales, other people who are selling off collections, this book still pops up a bit. Just one for you to keep your eyes out for as it's definately one to grab!

It's hard to get good deals at garage sales/flea markets nowadays. People have wised up and starting checking the Internet and oversteet for prices. Even old ladies have an idea what comics go for. I saw a old couple with a stack of comics and they had the Hulk 181 marked up $300. But on a rare occasion you can still find deals but never like the old days where you can get them in the $1 stack. I did end up finding that GS Xmen in fine for $100 at one of my regular flea market guy.

Not a bad Snag at $100. I agree, some people are more savy with comics nowadays, especially when the economy is so cruddy. Everyone is trying to make a buck on thier stuff and maximize it's value.

this is one of those landmark books that i'm surprised people overlook. funny how people forget the first run of X-Men wasn't widely popular and this was the start of the newer team. then Chris Claremont took over and made them into one of the most popular books around.
