Default Chew Appreciation Thread

When Chew #1 hit the scene about 2 years ago, I had bought probably 15-20 copies of #1 and was selling them for insane amounts of money, and never got a chance to read it. By the time I rolled around to maybe reading #1, I was out of them and couldn't see myself re-buying them back for $75, so I have not read the series up until today with issue #23.

I must say I really liked the art, and after reading Mars Attacks which has the same writer, I'm enjoying his style and am gonna start picking up back issues of Chew now.

Any other Chew fans here?!

I love Chew...I buy the once a year hardcovers (only 2 volumes right now). I think the writing is superb and the artwork is phenomenal! Wish I could afford a #1 CGC 9.8! I heard they are making a tv show...but it's kinda slow to start.

Love it. I just recently got into comics and Chew is easily one of my favorites.

Up until a few months ago, I had never read a comic book in my 33 years. Now I'm a regular comic shop visitor every Wednesday (thanks to TWD and the Blowout forums). Chew is the only book I have started reading (aside from TWD and Thief of Thieves) and I think it is outstanding. I'm not all the way caught up quite yet but have thoroughly enjoyed it thus far.

It's my favorite modern comic out there. Can't wait for the Showtime show!

Chew has quickly become one of my favorites. I love the humor in the writing and the original story line. I also love the artwork and all the little details in each panel.

I have 8,10,23,24 and 26 so far. Anyone have any extras they want to move?

I scored a small collection of Chew Back Issues, so if you're looking for any between 14 - 20 LMK and I'll see if I can hook ya up!
