SDCC Variants already hitting Ebay
 

[URL="http://www.ebay.com/itm/SDCC-2012-ADVENTURE-TIME-MARCELINE-QUEENS-1-SAN-DIEGO-COMIC-CON-VARIANT-/261064062151?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3cc8a174c7"]I picked up a couple of the Marceline SDCC Variants[/URL] and am contemplating a [URL="http://www.ebay.com/itm/SDCC-2012-AMAZING-SPIDER-MAN-688-SAN-DIEGO-COMIC-CON-VARIANT-/261058972287?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3cc853ca7f"]Spider-man variant[/URL].

Walking Dead Escape variant is selling for over $100, tickets for the attraction are only $75 and you get the book for completing the course. I might need to drive done to SD. It's only 3 1/2 hours away and the course looks fun (and it would essentially be free if I sell the book).

Sounds like an adventure waiting to happen!

People are Pre-Selling them. I would think if the course is rough and scary a lot of the comics will become damaged, that is if they have to take it with them. Plus, LOTS of people will be doing this course. There will be OODLES of these variants, probably more than the 1:200 sketch.. Paying 100+ for one of these sight unseen and potentially damaged is insane IMHO..

I would hope that they give these to you AFTER you're done, but you're right about there being 1000's of these listed in a few days.

Man that's awesome that you got your admission covered! I'm going there with my brother-in-law from Thursday through Saturday. I wanted to run the course, but he's not the type to run these.

they give them out afterwards i'm pretty positive from what i read.

myself and my 17 year old girl cousin are running it Friday at 1 p.m. since we got Thursday and Sunday con tix.

and yeah, the member was pretty cool to do that.

They give the comics after you run the course. I'm going to be a walker for the event and have confirmed it. Pretty cool since after we are done with the event we get to keep any prosthetics and make up as well.

Oh man that would be awesome. Unfortunately Im going to be doing it on Thursday from 6-9pm. The rest of the week I will be at comic con. That would be great though. I wonder how much "interaction" we will be able to have with the survivors during the run. Either way I hope you have a great time, and I will make sure to post pics/video of what I can.

and she figured out how much her survivor comic is worth and asked me to pre-list it on ebay for her. drats, almost got a free chunk of change :)

Yep I already did the same too. I sold one of mine for $177, and will be listing MANY exclusives. Will be getting a few more from the people I'm going with as well. Just a heads up bring some $200 with you to the escape, and as people leave ask them if they will sell you there book for $20-40. Trust me on this I do it all the time, you will be surprised how many people will bite. Before you know it you will make over $1000 profit just off of the escape.

I would grab several at 20.00 a pop if I were you
It will creep lower,but not hit that level for 4-5 days

Down to BIN prices of 105.00
I would bet 90 tomorrow and down to 75 by the weekend.
