Fellow Speculators - A Guardians of the Galaxy movie is in development. This would make Marvel Super-Heroes #18 (Jan. 1969) a KEY issue "IF" the movie source material is indeed the 1960's team.
![]() If not, we're looking at the Guardians of the Galaxy (vol. 2) #1 (May 2008) being the key book. Since Thanos will play a big role in the Marvel Universe on screen, my guess is it will be the 2nd 2008 book material they pull from. This 2nd book is an undervalued gem right now & can be picked up cheap! Don't say I didn't tell ya! Pick these up and keep an eye out for them, good to stock up a few. Cover A of issue #1

Yea I don't have the whole 2008 run yet, but it's a great book, especially if you're into the cosmic stuff!

Keep your eyes out for these books as well, key roles in the movie could cause 1st appearances to "spike", many of which are now undervalued gems & can be had on the cheap:
Bug, aka, The Galactic Warrior, "Loverbug" 1st app: Micronauts #1 Cosmo, First Appearance Nova #8 (2008) Drax the Destroyer: ANOTHER reason Iron Man #55 is KEY. Groot: first appeared in Tales to Astonish vol. 1 #13 (November 1960) Rocket Raccoon: First Appearance Marvel Preview #7 (1976) Star-Lord: Marvel Preview #4 (Jan. 1976), Jack Flag: 1st app: Captain America (1st series) #434 (1994) Moondragon: (as Madame MacEvil) Iron Man #54 Gamora: Strange Tales #180 (June, 1975) Mantis: Avengers (vol. 1) #112 (June 1973) Major Victory Marvel Super-Heroes (1st series) #18 (January 1969) Rocket Racoon's first comic appearance ( not magazine) has been making waves on E bay in the $25 range as is Hulk #271
