indy, i totally blew it on the batman. i have a hard time accessing the forum from my phone, which is why Jason was the "go between" here. I didn't hear back, then i got stepped on 3 different times in the crowd and got pissed off and left.

in 3 different areas within 10 minutes i got stuck in the middle of a crush because booths were giving away posters. sooo angry haha.

that place had them on sale for cover price too... sorry i blew it man.

I picked up the regular variant for $12 and the AwesomeCon variant for $15. I also have 5 regular copies. The book is really good. I'm tempted to pick up the CBLDF variant, but $75 is a lot for me to drop on a modern book.

yeah totally. i understand. i'm not certain where Indy is getting his price tbh. ebay they're all lower and i was basing my prices off of him.

either way, i'll revisit after my flight tomorrow. want to have a good last night of vaca

I like like the story as well.
Those who are not oposed to using alternate sources can read comics before or the day they are released by download :P
I got curious and grabbed this one to read. I think that cover looks wild and as far as investment potential, it probably has a lofty ceiling, I just don;t dig on black and white covers for personal books.

I was getting them from someone else at SDCC and I may have overpaid a bit. This always happens at cons, and I didn't know you were gonna get any. My internet has been down all afternoon. I'll probably buy a Batman off my other guy, depending on how much he's asking.

My guess is yes, you will as I only see these going up. Very rare sketch variant on what's being called the strongest title to come out of Image this year.

Honestly guys..Indy's price while higher than eBay is spot on at a very large forum (think grading) and I've been waitching guys snag them literally all day long

Did you notice there was no reply to the guy who wanted to buy one that was higher than a 9.8 and he didn't repost ? It's just like baseball, money talks and backdoor deals are done from grading services to friends of people who have friends or are in the industry

I understand paying too much or being in too deep, been there a lot.
But if you do not roll with the market as it moves, you end up stuck.

Well, with the exclusives and short prints, if you don't jump in you can miss out and end up paying MUCH more later. There are not a lot of these.. You'll see the prices go up even if there's a slight dip now due too many of them being available for the next few days.

I understand what you're saying, and with books that have 40,000 printed that makes more sense against books that have 500 printed.
