Default Comic-Con 2013?

Anybody get tickets this morning??? (NOTE: This was for pre-registration for people that went this year. There will be passes for sale next year to the general public!)

I think the website had issues again. So I couldn't grab a 4-day pass, but I was at least able to get Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I was probably waiting for over 1/2 hour to be able to purchase.

I thought this was for pre-registration for people who attended last year (2012). It's not open to general public yet...or am I wrong about that?

You are correct. I went this year in 2012. I was supposed to go with my brother-in-law this year, but he had personal issues that kept him at home. So I told him we'd go next year to make up for it. I'm just glad I could get Friday and Saturday passes. These pre-registration passes sold out quickly again.

EDIT: The Pre-Registration sold out this morning. But they will have more passes for sale in early 2013 to everyone else!

Yeah..sorry man...after I read my post I realized it may be misleading! So I edited it. There's definitely passes for sale in 2013!

I follow Comic Con on their Facebook and Twitter pages. The best thing to do is create a Member ID and get added to their mailing lists.

https://secure2.comic-con.org/memberid/

You'll need a Member ID to even get into the ticket queue, so it's definitely worth signing up!

I just logged in and get this message

We're sorry, you are not eligible to participate in the 2013 online badge preregistration and will need to wait until our open online badge registration to be held sometime in early 2013.

Hrmm.. maybe I'll pull some strings, make some calls and see if I can't get a press badge next year.

Oh I know I would. I've been to E3, CES, Comdex in a multitude of cities over the last 20 years. Not comics, but electronic gaming stuff, but a few times there were comic people there doing games, Marvel/DC, Viacom, etc..

It's just the energy and time required.. If I have enough vacation time to go, I'll definately do it next year, and hopefully I'll get a press pass. They treat you like royalty when you have one of those.
