LOL. I'll definitely hook you up, Corbin.

Gibberish... it's fine. If people don't want to support me because I don't want to deal with them on a Sports Card Forum..I'm okay with that.

Hey guys!

Been a while...bumping this to the top.

My first comic "Darkbat #1" is available now. I wrote it, with Travis Pyle (the creator) doing the art. Check out the website for information..and of course, I can have the artist and myself autograph if desired.

Home of Fly By Knight Comics

If you run into any problems, let me know and I can assist.

Thanks for the support!

John

The art work is amazing. Was the artist classically trained or self taught?

I believe I can get a PDF copy. I'll see what I can whip up as far as a preview.

Self taught. I'm assuming this is a smarmy comment in regards to the cover? It was actually drawn by the artist's niece and nephew, since this issue is from a child's perspective, hence the refrigerator magnet design. Covers aren't always indicative of the artist within.

Here are a couple of promo pics. The issue available now is a "Zero" issue...introducing the character.

It's a homage to all the old superhero titles of the creator's childhood. It has similarities to Batman...but MUCH more grim and reality based. All characters are Anthropomorphic (Humanistic Animals).

It was a smart a$$ comment. I thought that picture on the fridge was the cover and the art for the comic and you were joking. My bad. This new picture you posted makes sense. Looks good. Good luck to you. and that is not a sarcastic or smart a$$ comment.

I think its awesome that you are doing this, but I have one suggestion...

Spend a few bucks on a wordpress template or something to get that site looking right. Your website could be your first impression on someone. Im not trying to be rude, just want to give some honest feedback. There are a ton of options for wordpress themes that are under $100 that will give you flexibility.

BTW John, if you want a borderline inappropriate one shot side project let me know. I have a comic book idea that I've had in my head since 1998 that I'd be happy to give to you. It would be a little controversial.

Totally agree. My friend is trying to design the site from scratch...we gotta get someone professional or use a good template. Thanks for the suggestion!
