Default Indy Comic Pick: My Little Pony

This may not be one you'll like to read, but my gut says it will be HOT.

It will have 6 different covers, as well as 1:10 variant cover, and a special variant you can only get if you order the comic through your local shop.

If you're looking to flip some books, this one could be quite popular as it has a HUGE audience (Remarkably so)..

Just a heads up if you're into this type of book/flipping potential.

Yes, I'm pre-ordering it and I'm NOT a Bronie.

Note: The book is written by Katie Cook, who has done killer art on books, but this is her first exercise in actually writing one. She's a smart cookie and could make this book fun to read.

Midtown has them available for discounted Pre-Order now

Any "Howard" listeners know this will be big with all the Bronies out there.

First Bieber now this.....I'll give you credit Indy, you're one of the few people who'll throw himself under the bus for the team....but please deduct 5 points from your man-card nonetheless.

Do you suggest all of them, or just the 6 book set, or etc.?

If it's anything like Adventure Time, it won't matter, but to be safe, pick up some of variants as they're not much more than the standard copies.

Since the 6 regular issues will be random, get 6+ of those, as many as you want of the variants, and at least 1 box set. That's what I've done. I'm thinking the box sets will catch fire as they'll be limited and much harder to get and the Little Pony fans will want them big time.

This series, even though I don't watch it, really, I don't... really.. is SUPER HOT. I have a feeling this book will be too, so don't kill your wallet pre-ordering, but get a few in case it does explode like Revival did and you can make a few bucks to pay for your other habits/hobbies.

hope that helps.

This would make a great Christmas gift...it comes out in November so it might be one of those "hottest gifts" they come out with every year...good suggestion Indy, my daughter will love this! Gives me a reason to order a few sets!

Hey, Friendship is MAGIC!

I ordered a box set.. Might have to get a 2nd one for my niece. This could be a hot Christmas item and I'll be the "COOL Uncle" if I snag this for her.

The Bronies are going to go crazy for this (as well as my daughter). Thanks for the heads up, Indy!

The 6 different covers has a different pony on each one. Kids are going to want all 6 I'm thinking. Could be a real hit near Christmas time.

I guess I could sell the one I gave my 4 year old daughter (j/k) (P.S. Here's a pic to prove that I am not a bronie. )

Good pick up on the comics! You did the right thing giving the toy to the girl, that's what they're for - But yeah, you dink! You should have gotten a few extras to help at least pay for the gas to get to the show!

Looks like we may be getting even more My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic #1 covers than we expected. Here's one by Amy Mebberson for Third Eye Comics by way of Uncle Sam and Lord Kitchener
