I don't know that a pressing would have helped it, but maybe.. I've never pressed books before, not sure that it helps if it's a print defect that caused it.

I thought printing defects aren't considered when it's a 9.8...only with 9.9 and 10's

CGC does not take away for printing defects. *slaps forehead*. Sorry, but I've sub'd thousands and thousands of comics, and they never have. I also help with their Signature series when I have free time at the cons.

So, obviously something was wrong with the book besides that defect. Always make sure it's bullet proof shipped as well.

Yeah, well that could be it as well, but I ship extremely well, but ya never know. Thanks for the insight into the printing defect issue.

No problem. I've made plenty of mistakes/etc sub'n, I have a ton of 9.4's/9.6's. Sometimes you may just get graders on a grumpy day as well lol.
