I just finished reading it. Very weird, not what I was expecting. I didn't hate it, but weird is the only thing that comes to mind.

It's a horrid book
It's collection potential is about on par with a roll of toilet paper.

A set of both covers selling for $17 now!

FWIW: I sold a regular cover Happy #1 to a guy in the Alabama Federal Pennitentary. I hope I don't get in trouble for sending such a violent, profanity laced book full of weird sex, murder, drugs and hallucinary blue flying horses to a federal pen!

I kind of agree although i wouldnt be that harsh. I skipped this book. There is a large following and the print run is going to be high, plus issue 1 had way too much swearing for my taste.

Well I'm taking a gamble on forbidden planet shipping, just ordered 4 of their happy 1 variant and 4 of bedlam #1 variant. Not too impressed with the cover for the happy variant but never know with the recent announcement.

my other lcs that I go to had about 30 copies in stock...I grabbed a couple more but they said the variants sold out quickly.

Word is Mark Walhberg is set to star in the film!!!

If that comes true, we know this will be no low dollar attempt. This could get bigger then expected!! Stock up now..that 9.8 Variant will come in handy in 6 months.

Yeah, if they're LUCKY they'll get them back by December. Modern grading is behind at 70 business days. That doesn't include weekend or convention days.
