Note, it is a 4 book mini series, but don't think for a second mini-series don't do well in aftermarket sales. Most recently 2nd printings of Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe are selling for $50.00, FOR 2nd Prints! (Granted, he's a more popular character, but the print run on this Image title should be much lower)

it must be pretty exclusive...Morrisoncon is super pricey to even get in to. if i recall its like $500 to attend or something staunch like that

All this talk about Grant and I haven’t mentioned the flawless pencils of Darick Robertson, who shows that whatever issues prevented him from working on The Boysare put to bed and he’s in fighting form, no, actually, he’s past fighting form, he’s in nation conquering form. From trashed Santa’s to stoned serial killers to bloody hitman to flying, talking blue horses, Robertson is drawing with the versatility and passion of an artist who’s still out to make a name for himself. He’s drawing like he hasn’t already done pencils on ground-breaking, genre defining comics. He’s drawing like an artist who’s had all the rest he needs and is now back and ready to work. And are we ever ready to have him back.

Happy #1 Review (Spoiler Free)

After reading an advance copy of Happy #1, I questioned my own snap judgement as to just how good it was. This crime noir meets cartoon animals story is like a sinister version of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. Is that a good thing? After reading this a second and a third time, I can definitively say yes, yes this is.

FWIW, my comic shop owner said the comic was "Brilliant" as did the employee working there.. They're not just trying to sell comics either, they always give me brutally honest opinions on new books, if it sucks, they'll tell me it sucks.

I just finished reading said first issue and I have to say… how the hell is Grant Morrison popular as a writer? This book is everything that he’s ever been accused of come to life: it’s creepy, crazy and confusing and I loved it.
