Default Anyone going to the Las Vegas Comic Expo this weekend?

I can get two day tickets for $16 (door price $50), I am leaning towards checking it out, some very cool guests on hand. Has anyone been to the Las Vegas Comic Expo before and are there any great freebies/giveaways that are worth going for?

Here's the info if anyone wants to see it: Las Vegas Comic Expo

Seems like the power play would have been the VIP tickets.
I would speculate the bag of goodies would bring 800-1200.00 on ebay

The Lady Death variants look pretty cool.

You know what, you convinced me to go for the VIP tickets then. I'd be happy if i get my $150 for the tickets back, but we'll see what the world of ebay brings my bag of goodies.

*Blindside Limited Edition LVCE Variant cover – by J Scott Campbell & Nei, created by Marat Mychaels. As a special bonus, each of these Limited Edition books come with original hand drawn sketch! (Suggested Retail Value $75)

I think the hand drawn sketch and the book here should come close to covering your 150 ir not show profit right off.

*Randomly inserted from the new Batman #0 covers and other Marvel Books, one of the Special Guests of the show creates an original sketch drawing. (Suggested Retail Value- $50- $75)

Another 50-100 on the low side with the upside being much higher depending on the sketch

*Commemorative Playing Card Set LVCE – Playing cards have never been this fun for the comic art collector! This Poker style card set includes original artwork on 52 playing cards, along with special entries for the Joker. This is the perfect item to be signed by each of the guests at the Las Vegas Comic Expo. (Suggested Retail Value- $15)

get the Jokers signed.
Would think they bring 20-30 a pop
Would also trade my ass off for more of those cards while there. Focus on unopened packs or just the jokers

Thanks for the help, I tried to buy VIP tickets but the website they use for tickets isn't working, I'll call them tomorrow and see if I can still get a VIP package. Gibberish, let me know if there's anything you might be interested in, I'll try to hook you up for the help.

Just printed up my VIP ticket, will get back to you tomorrow night. I'm wondering if some of the Original Art in the charity art auction will slide cheaply with a better ebay resale value, anyone have experience with that in the past?

I would think the Grimm variants would be good to get also if you plan to flip quick. Although I would expect to pay about $100 for the most rare ones (that is what the nude ones were at SDCC).

I am easy man
I know a girl who would love this set and would be a nice gift for her

Go with fine point sharpie.
You will have a smudge risk unless you have baby powder with you...and that may just creep people in line out :P

The upside is the covers with boobies seemed to start at 150 on ebay then shoot to 350+ in no time
So keep an eye out and bring cash

Somehow turned off my alarm and I'm here an hour later than I hoped to be, but I'm here. There are two Zenescope exclusive comics, one cover limited to 500 for $20 and one limited to 100 for $80, apparently they're made by the same makers of the Grimm comics. Are they worth it?
