Default Scans of my day 1 haul from Vegas Comic Expo

Alright, as a disclaimer, I know a ton about sports cards, and as for comics, I buy a few reader issues, don't really collect for value.

So here are a few scans, not sure exactly what I have value wise, etc. I still plan on going back tomorrow, with a little more of an idea of what I'm doing, but I could still use any helpful information. The playing cards I had signed were exclusive to the Vegas show and I had the jumbo decks signed, with 4 to eight of each signed if anyone is interested. Well, I'll stop rambling, let me know what is cool and valuable, and what is junk.

Front of the exclusive Blindside

Back of the exclusive Blindside

Exclusive Grimm spinoff #/100 signed by Ale Garza

Exclsuive Grimm spinoff #/500 signed by Ale Garza

Vegas Exclusive Lady Death #/99 signed by Brian Pulido, has actual crystals on it (very awesome to see in person, picture doesn't do it justice)

Vegas Exclusive Lady Death #/150 signed by Brian Pulido

Ancient Dreams #1 signed by Ale Garza and JP Roth

Ancient Dreams #0 signed by JP Roth

Sunset Vegas Variant

Regular size and jumbo deck of cards

I gotta run right now, will get you any of the artist's names you nee on the signed playing cards.

Nice haul...if I remember correctly the Lady Death one with crystals has Swarovski crystals. I missed out on those when Brian Pulido was at Emerald City Comicon! Those playing cards are freaking cool! Are you going to try and get them all signed? If so get that one of the two decks I got from you signed as well! Thanks! If any are missed and if they show up at Emerald City Comicon in March then I can get them signed there as well!

I scanned one of each card I got signed, I'll see if i can get the rest tomorrow. I have the following going to CGC for Gold Labels ($36 each grading fee, 70 Business Day level-Ugh!): the #/100 Grimm, two #/500 Grimm, one Lady Death Crystal #/99, and one Lady Death #/150. I picked out the cleanest copies I could find, but of course Pulido took the Crystal version and waves it around to make the ink dry faster, hopefully it doesn't kill the grade too badly.

I was thinking about getting a few more of the Grimm Variants, is it better for resale to get them signed by Garza or go unsigned?

signed if you get CGC SS otherwise unsigned raw.

I do not see any of the /100 Grimms up yet
I see /500 up for 40.00 with none sold yet
I would say a bill would be a good mark for the /100 signed or unsigned
Get the CGC SS and you can double that price I would think

Alright, I worked late Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Night, had to wake up early with little sleep for the show both days, and ended up eating some recently legalized A-5 Kobe Filet Mignon after work Sunday Night (got a STEAL on two lbs. for $120); definitely an interesting weekend.

I picked up a few more clean Grimm Universe versions of both copies, got three of each signed by Garza and two unsigned, also picked up a few more of each deck of cards. I'll test ebay with them for a few weeks, hopefully at worst I break even, I definitely had fun. Also got the Blindside Vegas Exclusive signed by J Scott Campbell, Marat Mychaels, and Nei Ruffino. A few more quick scans;

I told them on Sunday that my VIP package didn't have the second Original Sketch, I wasn't sure by the wording if they were randomly inserted into the VIP bags, or if you were supposed to get one random sketch. They gave me the choice of two, so I took Wolvy cooking a steak and a few Kabobs on his claws. I haven't matched up the artist to the guests who who were at the show yet.

Being a quasi-alcoholic myself, this is my favorite cover of all time. I have had a reader copy around the last few years, so I had to get it signed by Bob Layton. Doubt it's worth anything, just a cool item for the PC.

My favorite pickup from the show, an original published page of Deadpool 52 by Ale Garza. Now all I have to do is pick up a copy of Deadpool 52 and try to do a decent Matting and framing to hang upstairs, hopefully I can get it done at Michael's with a little of my own time and effort for around $80. Below is a close up of the meat-and-potatoes of the piece; a few notable characters to say the least.
