FOC = Final Order Cut-Off.. I've pre-ordered just in case this is a huge key issue, and my gut said DO IT.

Alright, I think I just might. On DCBS you can get a 50th anniversary variant too: Discount Comic Book Service - save up to 35% on comic books, statues, hardcovers and retail products

I've never actually ordered from them, but am gonna give it a shot and grab a variant cover from them.

Yeah, wouldn't surprise me, but he's not been one to do that before. If it were Mark Millar I'd just ignore it, but with Spidey ending at #700 and this is the lead into the that, I thought it was worth the gamble.

I mean it's only $15 bucks w/shipping.. I drop $100 on a box of cards and have absolutely NO idea what's in a box. Comics are much cheaper to play around with, plus there's an added bonus, I like reading Spider-Man

That could be true depending on how many your shop ordered. I'm just going on gut feeling and buzz I'm hearing and news from retailers. Could be a total ruse, but I ordered some just in case, but I almost always order Spider-Man anyway.

Dan Slott (Author of Spidey) says "Heads up: People are getting their hands on review/advance copies of ASM #698. I see anyone spoiling it ahead of time (before November 21st): I will BLOCK you for life on ALL social media. Very serious. We've worked VERY hard to keep this stuff under wraps and make this fun for people WHEN they read the book. We've done all we can on this end-- now it's up to you."

yeah i guess it depends on your local shop. mine is always well stocked on everything . i go first thing in the morning. the only time i order online is if i know i wont be making it to the shop that particular week .

From what I've learned, there will be a massive media blitz next week. I expect the book to sell out FAST Wednesday.

I dont know if they are just trying to throw us off the scent, but I am hearing more and more, and seeing more and more on the forums, that the new Superior Spidey may be the Marvel 616 Miles Morales. This may be the reveal on the last page of 698, or just the introduction of him, something like that.
