Default Walking dead 1-101

Local guy is in a bind for cash. He is one of those guys who doesn;t sell books, period
I convinced him that moving his WD would be his best move due to the market being what it is right now

He has 1-101, shy 10 issues

61,63,77,78,79,80,81,86,87,88
The above issues are the one's he is missing. There was a period here where we live where there were no shops and he doesn;t use the internet, hence the gap

This is not a dealer flip lot TBH
I could buy this myself and use them as trade if that were the deal. I am helping him move the books

1-6 are cover signed by Tony Moore. These were convention signed, not sure if anyone cares but felt I would mention it

The entire run is NM/NM+
I will get scans in the next few days if there is interest

With the cost to replace the missing issues factored in as well as the lack of ebay fees by selling via the forum, the FIRM asking price is 2590.00
Granted a shop could do well parting these out, still I think a collector who wants the run would fare better

Anyway, drop a post if there is interest, but be warned there will be no movement on the price. I am not making a dime off of this, I am helping a regular who is in financial distress

Here are images of 1-6

https://picasaweb.google.com/1129830...35/WalkingDead

#5 had 2 copies as did 2
The signed number 5 has damage so IMO it won't be sold with the lot
Both #2's are perfect,so it would be buyers choice to have auto'ed or not.

#3 has dirt, ink transfer? at the staples. I saw this with my Chew #10's and was told it was normal for white covers. To me it is something to be mentioned,so there it is

if anyone needs to see other covers, let me know.

Sorry man, it is what it is.
I would say CGC is lacking as a service for not having the ability to certify an auto
But hey, they have one end of the hobby by the balls so what can ya do. If BGS or PSA ever horned in on the comic industry, that would be funny

May have it PGX and hope for the 9.9-10 and then not even worry about CGC for the #1

Then again, if I had time i would just run up to NYC let him see he signed it,give the nod and CGC yellow it I am assuming an interested party is intending to do just that since it seems all he sells are CGC books and the bulk are signature series

I have 3 interested parties, so no sweat Chipz. The only issues will be the price discount chatter, which will just be quashed since I got no dog in this and he isn't selling unless he gets his price
