new to flipping and comic books.
My cousin and I run a collectables business together and he is in charge of the comic book section.
Well we found comics from the 60's that were in bad shape but I bought 80 of them for 60 bucks. Now he is mad cause I made the buy against his wishes.
Was this that bad of a buy on my part.

Matters what issues you have. Do you have a list?

If he is in charge of the comic books and he told you not to buy them with you guys' money, then why would you? Just curious.

Sell them for $1 apiece... people will pay that just to have something cool and old.

i don't buy and flip comics too often, but i know that condition is important as well as certain key issues. you might want to start with posting a list here, then the more knowledgeable members can chime in.

also...key is NOT as important as you think when buying.
Hell, I sell more off-color characters in Bronze-age at 1-3.00/book with well read covers than I do any key's odd to be honest :)
Kill Raven,Santana....I mean people eat that 70's stuff up and want the book to have the book. Stuff you can;t sell online, but moves well in-house

List your books, fairly sure I can tell you what will sell as long as it has a cover :)
Heck, I sold a Tales of suspense that was G/G+ for 25.00 last week that I couldn't get 10.00 on ebay for regardless of how important it is in the comic universe.

There are 2 different animals...ebay shoppers working on runs and people who see it, like it and grab it :)
