Indy and comic book gang

Kinda of getting back into comics and was on my way to the local comic shop, any books i should grab if they have them or any back issues that could be a good hold and flip or just plan have to buy? Dont have any clue what to look for these days as in whats hot and whats not. The walking dead has brought back to life my 20 year comic itch! any help/advise would be great thanks!

Batman #13 and Batgirl #13 are on fire right now, Uncanny Avengers #1 is a good pickup as well, all three came out last week and they might still have some.

I'm sort of in the same boat. I stopped reading stuff about the time of Blackest Night so I'm only a few years out of it. I wouldn't even know where to begin now, all the DC stuff I looked at all had new numbers on them.

Stop while you are ahead ... and don't buy comics!!!!!! Ask Indy!!!! I have an addiction now and have spent at least four figures in the past year

Uncanny is a bad pickup for investment on base issues
I have had people offer them to me for 1.00/issue in the last 2 days when working bulk deals. There are too many out there.
You can get the initial variants,including baby variants, for cover and I have been offered several of the variants at 1/2 of cover if I buy 50 at a time.

For a story to read, it's good, but to collect for investment....10 foot pole comes to mind.
Uncanny is going to be bad all around IMO
After seeing how many were put out I cancelled all of my orders on the marvel point one and marvel now Books. They are going to screw themselves and their customers who are looking for a flip

AGAIN

for stories, that is a different issue altogether BUT...when they will be 1/2 of cover on standard issues a day after they are released, I wouldn't pre-order any
