No problem, Indy. Been lurking all over the net for the last year after getting back into the hobby after a 15 yr crash induced layoff.

Feel like i know the ship dates and sales numbers like the back of my hand now.

It's already gone to a 2nd printing before even hitting the stands. That's a good sign. I think the media may latch onto it for some of the violence in it. It's pretty rough. I read it last week. Very intriguing book!

I can understand. A certain healthcare law that passed here in America got me and 89 of my buddies laid off about 2.5 years ago. I was out of work for about a year myself. I feel your pain!

Sorry to hear about that, Indy. I was referring to me walking away from the hobby after the crash of the 90s sour taste in my mouth and all.

I do know exactly what you are talking about though. I live and work in the city that law came from.

Hehe
You might want to start turning around again, it's about to happen all over
Baseball card dealers getting into "investing" into comics again, print runs doubling.

I know, man. Books like Saga, Revival, Rachel Rising and Manhattan Projects are too good to turn away from though. I guess the only bright side this time is that content matters more than it used to when accounting for its hotness.

The writing is MUCH better now. I lived through the crash too, and I'm starting to see hints of it, but nothing GLARING yet.. The fact that most publishers print to order helps, but yeah, if card shops, other types of shops that have NO BUSINESS doing comics start getting into comics again, watch out. I don't think we're there yet, but it could happen again if we're not too careful, although, our economy is working against it. We're way less spoiled in terms of excess/non-essential spending now than we were in the late 80's early 90's. Then again, maybe I"m just more prudent.
