Default A small collection of my own 1/1 sketches

This is what I use those blanks you find in packs for. Practicing my art. I send these out with cards when people buy crap off me.

That's awesome. It would make my day to find one of those in some random $5 PC card I bought.

Indy, you're a pretty cool dude. Thanks for all you contribute to this forum! (though maybe I shouldn't thank you, because coming on here is definitely increasing my weekly comic outlay. I never cared too much about grading, variants or trying to get ahead of the next hot book before, but I now have a new way to enjoy this great hobby...in addition to just reading the heck out of some great stories, of course)

Just curious, if you were to try to sell those on eBay, would the licensees shut you down?

I tend to stick to cartoons, realism is something I'd like to do more of, but don't enjoy it as much as my toons. Thanks for all the compliments guys!

No

Fan Art is not a copy write issue.

17 U.S.C. 107
Utilizing the Fair Use clause.
Now if he was pushing out 10k of them, then he might find his ass sued into the lower rings of hell, but I doubt that would be the case

Fan art sells well on ebay on sketch issues and even more so if they are established artists from sites like Deviant.

I mean....this is better than most highly paid pencilers

This comic guy also makes his own comic called Gman

I have no idea, but have never tried to sell them. I give them away with purchases. Just a little something extra as I find time to draw them.

Like 'Gibberish' said earlier, I think you can sell any sketch card on eBay without problem. Just search for ''PSC sketch cards'', you'll see a couple of very nice ones right now. (PSC = Personal Sketch Card)

I agree... if IndySportsCards ever wants to, he could get hired by one of the card companies... there are more and more who insert sketches in their products these days, which is a good thing. Topps, Leaf, Cryptozoic, Viceroy, etc.

Awesome, Awesome Stuff, Indy!!! Where is my Kate Upton one? You might need two decoy cards for just the upper region alone and one for the lower hemisphere

Made this one today with some dry/wet pencils my wife gave me. Not sure if I like them yet, but my markers tend to smudge my black lines.. I'm still working on a happy place for this mixed media.
